Not that far-fetched from Dwight's perspective, but from Harden's it's downright laughable.

Why aren't we taking the account of our very own Dave H. (Clutch) over this kind of stuff. Clutch is there in the locker rooms at home games, shoot around, practices and whatnot. I'm sure he sees these guys interact as basic human beings as much as anyone.

Clutch noted a few weeks ago something Harden and Howard being very jovial with each other. During the games they are always great about high fives, and basic teammate stuff. They even have a special H&H thing where they lock arm pits or something like that.

While H&H might have very different personalities, and might not be best buds off the court, there is nothing I've seen since Howard signed here that really pointed to bad blood between the two.

Yes I do think that recently both players probably sat down together or individually with Morey and discussed the realities about their partnership that on the court they just aren't the power 1 - 2 punch we all originally thought they would be... but that doesn't mean that they didn't want it to happen, and probably try to make it happen for years.

But blowing this out to make it look like they are worst of enemies, and have been conniving behind each others backs like children is cowardly reporting. Its just simply not true unless Clutch or others who are around the team confirm that they have been holding back on reporting the accurate truth for a long long time.

Clutch for the longest time, will report the hard truths of what he sees and let us decipher what is going on there, and he certainly doesn't sugar coat things. I get that there might be some things that are told to him in confidence that he can't speak out about, but that's understandable.

So point being - if this was true, and there was really a rocky relationship there, we would have heard much much more about it.

It shouldn't be shocking that Harden and Howard are not best friends. Their chemistry has never been good, the team up until this year has just won regardless. Even though both guys are not good leaders, I would be willing to bet most of the locker room sees and respects Howard more as a leader then Harden. Just an extremely flawed team right now with extremely flawed star players. Not a promising situation.

Yep I've been saying that too. They rarely even communicate on the court. Now think of any two star player teammates. They always talk to one another. Jordan-Pippen. Dream-Clyde. Malone-Stock. Nash-Dirk. Garnett-Pierce-Allen. KJ-Chuck. Payton-Kemp. Even Kobe-Shaq played off of one another, communicated, and made plays for one another despite their personal hatred.

That is not true. They do not have any common personality with Kobe and Shaq, both Harden and Howard are nice people who are not going to do something like this.

Lol talk about changing history. Harden's usage has never been above other star players, he requested another guard like Lawson to take pressure off him, and Lawson sucked playing with or without Harden on the floor.

If Fran is willing to blatantly make all this stuff up, it doesn't bode well for the rest of his "reporting."

I don't see how Howard could walk into DM's office, with a straight face, and demand Harden be traded. "Yeah Darryl, I want the MVP gone by the start of the season." Texting friends is one thing, but walking into your bosses office and demanding he pick you instead of the other guy is a whole different ball game.

There's a reason we called him Fran Blindbury when he wrote for the Chronicle.

How great is it to read the original post and see the Harden laser beam eyes candy head ad right under it. LOLOL. Still laughing, and he's still shooting laser beams.

i just don't buy it. harden who got limited by wesley matthews for game 1 and 2 wanted howard gone. Howard came to play in the playoffs the last 2 years while harden had to sit back for a couple of those games.

Well we know the chemistry is bad, and that's why the Howard/Harden experiment needs to come to an end. The Rockets have the talent to be a MUCH better team, they just don't have the chemistry for it. Trading Dwight is the first step towards fixing the chemistry.

Now I'm not saying it's Dwight's fault, in fact, I don't think it is, but that's the move that has to be made.
