Rockets can make the math work in a Howard to Hornets deal. Right now though Morey is probably holding out for asset compensation beyond expirings. Likely a 1st round pick.

Why are people saying Dwight will sulk and stop playing hard?

When has Dwight ever tanked a season??

 

Nah you know he is holding out for Lin.

 

Dwight has ridiculous hate put on him and always has.

The reality is that if things were different right now we'd have no interest in trading him.

The only reason we are even thinking about it is because we don't have the mythical third star and maxing out Dwight keeps us from getting one. Dwight is basically Chandler Parsons from a few years ago. A good enough player to keep, a player Morey would be fine to severely overpay if the team were in the right spot but a player we can't overpay right now because of circumstances.

 

You just want to watch the world burn, don't you.

 

I would do Williams, Jefferson, Kaminsky (plus first rounder? or second) for Dwight

Kaminsky + Dekker would be fun

 

I guess it's a waiting game now, who will cave first..Morey can kiss that 1st round pick goodbye since Howard will not re-up with them.

 

Please for the love of God let Michael Jordan pressure the front office into making a trade. That'd be terrific.

If only Jordan/Hornets took that Boston deal of 4 1st rounders for the 9th pick. Then he would have a bunch of 1sts to throw at Morey.

 

I'm a Hornets fan too so it's a win-win for me, really hope this goes through as I'm a Rockets fan first :grin:
