    NBA Trade Rumors

    EVERYBODY LOVES PATRICK

Raptors forward Patrick Patterson is in demand across the league, per Yahoo Sports.

Even though his numbers are down, the sixth-year forward has appeal across the league. Under contract for the next two seasons at $6 million per, Patterson is a stretch power forward that many teams covet
Source: Guide to the NBA trade deadline: Raptors - Yahoo Sports.

Makes sense. Patterson's a prototype stretch four, able to rebound, defend 3's and 4's, can knock down shots from the outside at 34.5 percent, and athletic. The Raptors could use an upgrade at that spot. Getting him, however, is going to be difficult. Patterson is the type of asset that Masai Ujiri can bleed teams for.

If only he had played that way with us, he would be almost perfect right now.

He traded Pat for T-Rob's "perceived" value (asset to flip) and for the cap flexibility to sign Dwight Howard. It was an actual instance where Morey overthinking 2 steps ahead actually worked out.

Thomas Robinson had so much potential, it was a solid move, sometimes it doesn't pan out.

Gun to my head I would have guessed this was PPat's 9th year in the league.

Also, he's having a horrendous season really. He has a 9.9 PER and isn't a great defender or anything.

I'm not sure why he'd be in high demand by anyone.

Right now I'd rather have Thomas Robinson over Patterson on the Rockets. At least T-Rob can protect the defensive glass. Patterson might be the only 4 worse at rebounding than what we already have.

I haven't watched him much except a few Raptors' games. His D is avg I say, passing is decent. He's just bad at rebounding, sometimes he can get a few nice blocks though.

My thoughts exactly. I even had to Google it to make sure. Can't believe he is only 26 as it seems like a long time since he was a Rocket.

It's amazing the amount of talent we have had come through town and seen success elsewhere: PPat, Dragic, Lowry, Parsons, Lee, Whiteside (D-League), etc.

He did play that way here. Ha-ha. I'd rather have a healthy DMo and Josh because of defense. Ah, who cares - the season is lost

Rebounding has not won us enough games this year.

Pat has become better than solid role player. Good allround player

This is mostly because he had a HORRENDOUS start to the season.

He's really picked it up recently. Definitely value in a stretch big that can play some defensive.
