What's your definition of horrible? Shooting 37% from three this season. 7th pick in the draft, plus defender, 6'6" and can put the ball on the floor and do something with it. Sure, he hasn't made the leap yet and is playing career low minutes, but its hard for anyone to flourish in Sacremento.

He could be an excellent role player. Shumppert' contract isn't horrible by any means but there's zero reason McLemore could not fill a similar role for us and he would be a fraction of the price.

he got demoted on a bad team. he sucks.
i'd rather have brewer or kj.
brewer's got out of his long ass slump and kj may not be ab etter player, but he can be developing his game if given consistent minutes around 10mpg.

He got demoted, it must mean he sucks right? This is Sacramento we are talking about, who is headed up by George Karl.

    McLemore >>> Brewer.

brewer's a decent backup wing for another year or two. mclemore's a borderline avg backup wing. he has potential but we already got kj for that role.

if the rockets are gonna "contend", i dont want too many inexperienced young players. we got dmo, kj, capella, and hopefully not jones. thats enough.
i really want them to be more serious with kj. wasting talent. but a bad coach and a bad system has no clue how to use him, just like dwight.

Thars a fair enough point. My point is that McLemore would offer a lot more than KJ does now. Shooting 37% on this threes, he can actually shoot. He also has multiple 20 point games in his career, which is more than can be said for KJ.

I think we all know in the end no major shakeup will happen. Morey will go to on of his go to trading partners NYC,Sac,den and make a small deal I see something like this going down.

Maybe. Horford is a UFA and Teague has just one year left on his deal.
Dwight and Rubio (with 3 more affordable years) more than replace them.

Losing both Korver and Sefolosha make this a bit too much for the Hawks to lose - even if Korver is about to turn 35 years of age.

I like the idea of trading Howard for Brook Lopez. I dont know finding the right big next to him would be key, could be another Twin Towers? I do miss us getting production from the post, at least this way we know someone can take the offensive load from James when he is not feeling it.

This trade deadline could be real very quiet. A lot of team unhappy with their roster or situation, but no body seems to have anything rolling. It will be interesting to see how the dominos fall.

We then trade Tjones to Boston for a 1st rounder

1st rounder/Ariza/DMO/Bev - Blake Griffin (I know they wouldnt do it but it would be a good trade for them as well

    Frye/Splitter
    Griffin/Smith
    Harris/Decker
    Harden/KJ
    Teague/Fournier

    DJ
    DMO
    Ariza
    Reddick
    Paul

    Dwight
    Milsap
    Korver
    Oladipo
    Schroder

    Vucevic
    Horford
    Gordon
    Hezjonia
    Peyton

I think every team really gets a whole lot better

even better Capela can be thrown in the Blake Griffin trade maybe then they wont say no

frye at Center is like sam perkins at center during the Sonics glory days

but thanks for your point of view

it is all about surrounding Harden with people who can shoot or create their own shot and everyone in this lineup can do one or the other.

in this league you have to give to receive on this board we think we can rob everyone

I think the one team who doesn't win too much in this trade is Orlando but they do get the best player in Horford

    just my point of view

I would vomit if I saw Brook Lopez in a Rockets jersey.

I can't quite put my finger on what it is.

Maybe it's his turnaround which takes 13.5 seconds to complete.

Maybe it's his highest recorded jump being 2.4cms off the floor.

I'd loath to have to watch him every game.

Jones isn't worth a first round pick, some people have way too high expectations on some of our players worth

Simmons came up with this one on his podcast

    Brooklyn gets:
    Ty Lawson
Sam Dekker (I added this to make it more enticing for BKLN)

    Portland gets:
    Dwight Howard

    Houston gets:
    Joe Johnson
    Mason Plumlee

Money doesn't work on the trade machine but I'm sure it could be worked out. Who says no?
