Kanye doesn't care about the backlash he is going to get. This got people talking about the album which is what he cares about. There is virtually no overlap anymore between fans of Kanye and fans of Taylor, he's not going to lose any money out of this, and may gain it by getting more exposure.
Just now clicked on the thread. Thought it was about a musician who called himself "Waves." Instead it's about Kanye. Disappointed.
Album is pretty good. I'm liking it a lot more compared to his last few releases. Listened to it on Tidal stream. The MSG Yeezy event and fashion show was pretty amazing I heard. Tickets were going for 5-10K USD which originally were retail at 150 USD.

It's not out yet and it appears it's due to technical issues. I am determined to listen to this album before I sleep tonight.
