good Allstate event. off topic but it would be cool to see them do knockout and of course 1 on 1 but they would never do that.
No way Pop lets him take 300+ shots. It really feels like Gordon is getting fisted by the SoL.
ASW has become stale & boring. Not as boring as the NFL's Pro Bowl but still stale & boring. Celebrity game - Whatever Rising Stars Challenge - Fine Shooting Stars competition - Gone(Didn't do it this year. Did 3peat winner Team Bosh make them cancel?) H.O.R.S.E - Gone(only lasted 2 years) Skills challenge - They've tried to tweak it the last couple years 3pt shootout - who can make the most threes, blahblahblah Dunk contest - new participants, same old tired, recycled dunks although it seems folks loved it this year. (BEST EVER! BEST IN THE LAST 15 YEARS!)

The NBA has done a good job of making a worthless event like all star weekend become a event. Seriously. NBA all star weekends bring a lot of star power to the city hosting.
For the first time in many years the dunk contest was thoroughly enjoyable. I think that Gordon's dunk were better than Levine's. Levine kept using the free throw line for all his dunks. I understand that both of the contestants did deserve 10's, but I think Gordon deserved the nod because his were more spectacular, and creative.
I just think Lavine was not thoroughly prepared for this He was like who is this guy with the mascot? Needed a better concept before the ASW
I think one dunk separated Gordon from lavine. The rotating hoverboard one. Lavine's dunks were good but Gordon definitely mixed it up.
Look lavine had sick dunks but Gordon brought new ideas that's never been done. For the first time I have enjoyed the contest maybe since 2000 but even then carter was battling him self. We saw completion tonight and Gordon should have won. Reminds me of when iguadala was robbed.
Although I do agree that Gordon shouldve won it, Lavine makes everything look so EFFORTLESS. He makes a free throw dunk look routine while Gordon was so creative. The only knock on Lavine was that his dunks were similar but difficulty wise, no one deserved to lose honestly cause both dunkers were so different in style. Unfortunate how the judges scored it but they honestly couldve gone all night.
