So his legislative success is a bill intended to prevent Iran's proposed U.N. envoy from entering the U.S.. OK, I appreciate your answering the question (which mojoman ducked twice). Most of the list above are not bills, and many/most didn't pass, and while they reflect his political stance, they don't seem to answer the question of how he will work with Democrats (or even Republicans) to get important things accomplished.
The answer is that neither Cruz, Clinton or Obama have led any truly noteworthy legislation to passage during their time in the US Senate. For whatever that is supposed to be worth.
But that answer is not responsive to the question. If you'll recall you objected to NewRox's characterization that Cruz couldn't work well with others: None sponsored any big legislative effort, but to the extent that cosponsoring bills of some import counts as leadership, Clinton and Obama blow Cruz out of the water. And, insofar as cosponsoring on a bill that has bipartisan sponsorship counts as "working well together with others," Obama and Clinton blow Cruz out of the water on collaboration as well. Heck, by his own admission, Cruz's participation in the immigration reform bill was actually just a poison pill effort, reflecting the fact that not only does he not work well with others he actively works to undermine others. Even if we count his efforts to block Obama with threats of a government shut-down, he couldn't collaborate with people in his own party. The good news for Cruz is that president is an executive office. He probably has the wrong temperament for a legislative body. Collaboration and compromise are less important for a president (if still a nice-to-have). He will be a strong executive (if not necessarily a good one). I'd focus on that as the argument, because arguing that he isn't demonstrably worse than Clinton or Obama at collaboration and compromise is a demonstrable loser of an argument. If Cruz becomes president, he's not going to collaborate with congress. He's going to bully congress, even while it's still majority Republican.
That's cute you think he is "anti-establishment". He learned a lot under Karl Rove when he was working on Bush Jr's campaign I imagine.
Cruz hired a p*rn star. Does that count as his Move? http://www.mediaite.com/online/tedcruz-campaign-pulls-ad-after-learning-actress-was-a-p*rn-star/
Hillary Clinton was hired by some of the most vile regimes on the planet when she flew around hawking her wares as Secretary of State in exchange for payments to the Clinton Foundation. That certainly counts as one of Hillary's moves.
Since what you said doesn't actually constitute hiring, and there hasn't been any kind of decision stating what you claim at all, then it would be hard to say that it counts as one of Hillary's moves. I'm not a Hillary supporter, but don't feel that inaccurate smears are an effective tool to use against. Better to just let the truth come out.
So far with the first two contests completed, Cruz has already shown himself to be unethical, and a liar. Prior to that, he's shown himself to be insane regarding Iranian nuclear threats. I've seen about all I need to see from Cruz.
If Cruz wants an agenda passed then yes collaboration and compromise are going to be very important for the executive. That said other than repealing the ACA I'm not sure what specific legislative agenda Cruz has.
The only bipartisan bills that I can think of that have involved Cruz are the Senate Amendment that banned torture (including waterboarding) and the NSA Reform Bill. And he's already distanced himself from both of those..
I thought you were opposed to using inaccurate smears. Then you turn straight around and use inaccurate smears against Ted Cruz. He is not unethical or a liar. But you sure have no problem telling lies about him. Why am I not surprised?
If you don't think misleading Carson supporters is unethical, then that's up to you. It fits my idea of unethical. If you don't think lying about it afterward is lying, then I don't know what to tell you. If you don't think the idea of Iran shooting a missile straight into the air in the Atlantic ocean setting off electromagnetic pulses that lead to millions of deaths in the United States is insane, then that's up to you as well.
