Again, that's like 15 M in today's cap to where it'll be by then. Maybe less. I didn't say 25M by the way. I'm fine with 22-24 M per year. That last year.. He's a expiring contract aka an asset anyway.

I love, love, love love love Dwight as a person and personality off the court. He handles himself well, always has that huge smile on his face when doing charity work for children and has done great things for the people of Houston as an ambassador to the Rockets.

On the court, however...his low playmaking ability, declining athleticism, dislike of his most effective play (PnR), humongous liability at the free throw line...we need to be done with it. I understand that there are things out of his control, like referees officiating him differently and allowing him to get hammered, but there are so many things that he can control that he does not.

I'm not a cap expert but I'm pretty sure that the max even the 4 year max is not flat. It has 7.5% I think raises.

What would Dwight look like in SA? In a real system? I hope he goes to a place like Boston that has a real head coach just to prove how stupid we were for trading him.

Gotta count the 1 minute of Dwight playing as a loss without Dwight, for practical purposes. Outside of that, we beat NO, DAL, MIL, MIA, and UTA. Not shabby, not particularly impressive. With Dwight, we lose to SA (twice), CLE, LAC, OKC, WAS, GSW, and POR (twice). Outside of the Blazers and Wizards, both games we should have won, those are the elites of the West and East. So not fair at all to pin that on Dwight.

    Very misleading statistic.

Speaking of Boston, wouldn't Thomas look great here? Actually, I'll take that back. He would look like **** in this offense.

Could the Rockets get Brooklyn's lotto pick from Boston?

    ...for James Harden.

    Otherwise, off limits.

Sacramento might be dumb enough to trade Cousins. Seriously. That franchise is horrible.

It might be time to move on as he is clearly not a max player at this point. I am not mad at Dwight at all though, he played his heart out in the playoffs through injuries and showed up when it counted.

I'll wish him good luck if he moves on.

Yeah.... But then Dwight would have a somewhat competent coach, and cousins would kill harden, lol.

You mean Sacramento might be dumb enough to keep Cousins. They should have moved him a while ago.

Dwight had the "wight Effect", I don't believe that applies anymore.

I like Dwight. I hope Rockets don't trade him. But if they do, I hope he sucks everywhere else. I seriously think some of the fans are most happy when the Rockets suffer.

I swear some of you guys get off on "I told you so's"

Best news all day. About time management realize that this guy is cancer. No work ethic and drive. Just a total failure.

Maybe I will follow this team after all.

Pretty young too! If I got cousins and I was in charge of play him as a pf but that's just me. One of the only guys if feel good about moving Dwight for. Not gonna happen but man harden and cousins would be raw

Team USA. Nothing exciting about cousins. Not a winning player

They aren't going to trade Cousins. Windhorst was on a Podcast talking about it. Since they are moving into a new stadium next year they need a superstar to be able to fill seats + the locals in Sac like him
