Dwight is going to go some where and be the Center we always needed. Let the sodium flow!

Doesn't make sense to keep him. We're not getting anywhere this year. Dwight wants a max contract. Some team will give it to him. Rockets will not. Rockets don't want Dwight to leave for free, so might as well trade him to get something in return.

I hope this team loses every game the rest of the year, so we can get a lottery pick and have a small chance at simmons.

In reality this is a good deal.

This is a guards league now. Besides defense Howard is a liability on offence unless he gets a lob pass. Still has value since he is not injured.

-He still does not have any inside game outside of a dunk.
-Teams will hack him late in games and he still cannot hit free throws.
-The NBA no longer calls fouls on Centers.
-His salary does not justify a defensive center.
    -Has no killer instinct.
    -Will go through more injuries.
    -Smiles way too much.

Best player on the team yet we have a winning record when he doesn't play this year.

Hell, we've won 6 straight without him in the team this season.

depending on how much $ we get back we will have to clean out 25 million I think to ask Durant. So goodbye to Ariza and Brew.

But probably one of the contracts we get back will be a large expiring for at least 10 per. (unless smh Dwight is traded for a star or we get back Dragic which is unlikely).

The only chance at a solid lottery pick would be shutting down Harden with chronic knee pain :grin:.

What if we Trade Dwight and he goes to Dallas in the off season? Dallas almost made ZaZa a freaking All-Star(*). RC will make Dwight a hall of famer.

See, now I'm getting heart palpitations.

    Isn't this what he does??

Why expect a fail up front from someome who normally delivers.

If Horford and Teague come back through the door I think we are all laughing.

I have to say... it was really fun when Dwight still had his athleticism and guys were scared to even take it in the paint on him.

Now it seems like guys aren't even intimidated of him anymore and take it inside and score right over him.

He's just not the same on defense anymore. He used to be a true rim protector.

This is likely waived by Rockets, since Morey is working with Fegan to identify teams. That likely means team approval for Dwight/Fegan to answer "whether willing to sign long term if traded for." Of course, that's no better than a promise. Not sure how much a promise adds value in a trade.

Its hard for me to imagine we have an environment which could bring out the good Markieff and not the guy we are seeing today.

That guy needs a team of leaders.
