Can we give away Corey Brewer in the Dwight deal?

    Unbelievable.

Well thanks for the memories, Dwight. You were by far, with no one even remotely close, the best player on our team for each and every playoff run while you were here. Others glitched. Others choked and shriveled under playoff pressure, but you went beast mode. You gave 150% night in and night out even though team mates played like they hardly cared.

When we actually passed you the ball, you knew what to do with it...getting buckets in the paint at a 60% clip.

We have a marquee player who gives up on 50% of the game ,the defensive side. We have no real, actual NBA level respectable coach. We have 2 missing in action PFs. We have a GM that looks at basketball like it's Sudoku. We have KJ who was priority #1 in the off season making $3,500,000 a year as a Viper. And we have Brewer and Ty playing with a +/- of -523.

But you're the only one worth anything that we can hopefully get something for.

    Perfect. What a wonderful season.

Perhaps something in the vein of:

Houston in: Jae Crowder, Avery Bradley, Mozgov
    Cleveland in: Dwight, Sullinger, Turner
    Boston in: Kevin Love

Would give us the flexibility to additionally part ways with Ty Lawson

    You don't get it.

Fegan's help can maximize trade value. Fegan will help guarantee Howard resigns with possible suitors. Without a resigning "promise" from Fegan and Howard, his trade value plummets, just like it did with the Lakers.

Let's just give him away, no Dwight deal needed.

While I agree with this message, it's time to let the Thibodeau thing go.

He's a has been NBA coach (his philosophy style) who hasn't won anything aside from a championship on one of the most stacked teams in NBA history.

Both he and Doc have done nothing of value since then.

I feel bad for Howard ....I hope they don't trade him because he isn't the problem. A legit 4 man would greatly help and a ball handler besides Harden. Defense is mental and isn't easily obtained through.

BUT if they are going to trade him Horford and Schroeder would be great!!

He did show up for the playoffs there has to be a way to get this team back on track.

We're going to have to deal with contenders, and typically contenders don't have many great assets so I doubt the haul will be extraordinary.

Celtics, Heat, Hawks could be the most interested, maybe the Knicks.

It's sad indeed we cannot get rid of Harden, but frankly, I don't like either player at this point. Howard is not giving his all either and he just refuses to play the way we have a best chance at winning.

Does Love for Howard make sense? I kind of like that.

This shift has been happening for a bit... though I could give the Blazers some slack since it wasn't quite as obvious in 2007 (yes, KD was drafted almost 10 years ago!!).

But today it's obvious, and that's even factoring in defense. because with the way offense has changed, and the rules have changed, and 3 point shooting has just gotten so much better, the most important defender is the guy who can guard multiple positions and still hold their own against the bigs and rebound, but is good at PnR, can guard the perimeter, etc.

The Rockets record without Dwight is basically better than with. It's nice to look at the playoffs, where Dwight's numbers have been nice, but their is no telling how far they would have gotten without Dwight last year, especially if DMo/PBev stayed healthy. Probably the same type of results.

And in the free agency, his massive contract desires, moving him is a no brainer.

I mean you can never tell what would happen in an alternate world, but it is very easy to see the Rockets winning one of those Blazers games without Dwight - there is nothing specific to point to, but it seems like the team just flows better (offensively, defensively) without him, even when he has good games.

GSW are showing the world...you only need a below avg center to win in this league.

    I still trust Morey.

I can't believe they are going to blow it up. The struggle just to get these guys here just to give up. Rockets were in the WCF just a couple months ago.

Blow avg? Bogut can pass, block shots and rebound.

Neither Draymond Green or Andrew Bogut are "below average". Not even close.

Can't deny what Howard did for the team especially in the playoffs but he is on the downside of his great career. I wish him the best and hoping for the best possible trade for the Rockets!
