And then he scores 18 points in 6 minutes and LosPollosHermanos angrily puts down his blackberry in disgust, dreading and ruing the repercussions of his bombastic buffoonery. " Woe is you friend. When you come out of your hole and read this (and I know what event you are hoping for to prompt emergence)... you still suck.
Did you have a dose of stupid or something? You just quoted me twice and didn't disprove me at all. There's a reason I said borderline all star, and getting streaky during a stretch doesn't disprove that. Tonight was a good game by him though, no complaints.
Harden, Ariza, Thornton, and Howard besides his terrible free throws are the only ones doing anything. Patrick and Brewer are not starters. Everyone else do not belong in the NBA. Harden is the player we build upon. Not Howard.
They were two reasons we even were close in the game. We don't have a bench. When Harden and Ariza go out we fall apart. Lawson is done. Capela, Smith, and Pat might as be in the D league since they are not existent in games. You can't demand everything from Harden. He showed tonight that he can hang with one of the best teams the nba has seen. And he did it with a bench that was Thornton. That's it. Morey should be fired on that general fact. If they don't make some trade for a deeper bench then I hope they fire him in the off season.
Not talking about one game. This team does not have it. It's leaders do not have it this season. We could ve been the Warriors but we are not. We are a homeless man's version of them.
Harden has had a weird year but to say a guy who's avg 28/6/7 on 59% ts is 6th in PER and top 10 in win shares overall and top 4 in offense rating is boarderline Allstar level. Well that my friend is just boarderline haterism If you don't like him fine nothing is prob going to change that short of winning a championship and even then some of you will still prob find somthing wrong. But you can't deny he's still a great player in the NBA right now and a top 10 player every stat says he is and his tack record says the rockets will be back to 50+ win ball next year more so than what we are this year which keep in mind is still better than half the NBA teams. We just expected so much because he has been so good snd won us a lot or games over the past 3 years before this one.
He's Not borderline all star, he's for all purposes a superstar. But the tale that Harden is the poor innocent victim of a team that just can't help him is just as bizarre as denying him allstardom. - He is the leader, his effort has been lacking. A few okay games, is that enough for you guys? - This supporting cast abouth which you guys are so up in arms was supposed to be the best team in the NBA. So it's unfair to criticisize James, but it's okay to torch the rest of the team? - he defensive liabilities shown by James are simply on another level compared to what he showed us the years before. He's our leader and it's not "hating"if we put down much of what went wrong at his feet, especially when there clearly is a very real mentality issue at play. Does he have to go? Hell no, we would be insane. Does he need to change? If he wants to be succesful with this team he has to.
