Harden to Morey: "Get me help at pretty much every spot."

He came to play tonight, the rest of the Rockets not so much.

 

And 1 and half game out 6. And with Gasol out indefinitely 5th place is up for grab.

 

Yeah, at this point the role players are just not fulfilling their roles..Harden hopefully is focused now from this point on though, because he still deserves a lot of criticism but I get that he gets tired of having to do everything while everybody else watches. Maybe that's why he wanted McHale gone, though he needs to commit as well. With the KKK gone, Harden back on a mission? Let's hope so..Morey needs to do his job too. Get some guys who can play, because this bench is not cutting it. Trade Capela and throw in some vets. J.B. needs to play Josh at the 5 more, it worked in 2 games and Capela is just not that guy. Great effort!!

 

i agree. i like the guy and wish him the best. but his time has passed regarding getting a max deal and carrying a team to a championship.

so depressing. i wish beverley and dmo were healthy last playoffs.

 

Play like tonight beats every other team in the league

 

They have a game tomorrow night against the Blazers in Portland.

 

We were looking good when the ball kept finding the open man, and then we went back to Harden going one on one and stop scoring.

 

First time the Warriors have trailed in a 2nd half in 9 games was tonight versus the Rockets.

 

McHale talking about hardens ankle injury over the summer was the most valuable thing coming out of tonight for me it answers a lot of questions about hardens season. I also like that the guys fought hard as well.

 

Call me crazy... but I seriously hate that we lost by 13. This game was SO much better than that for the most part, but our strange droughts along with GS getting the benefit of every gdm call led to that fatal end.

I kindve liked what I saw... especially from Harden. He seemed to have some fight in him when no one else could seem to score.

I dunno... I can't believe we're .500 again.

I can't believe we have to play a b2b after this late bs.

I can't believe we can't just...luck out against Golden State sometimes. No matter what you do, they're GOING to hit 3 or 4 threes in a row at some point, and that just ends up usually blowing you out... or taking a quick and unforgivable lead because you cannot ever get THEM down that far.

Curry hit 5 first quarter threes. Barnes hit every contested J he took in the 4th (it wasn't bad defense) and we went icy cold.

Btw... I hate Bogut. I hate that b*stard like every mid-2000s Utah team that always seemed to get the call, never get called for his OWN bullsht, and just...ARGH. I might hate him the most.

That was a tough loss. I think that most nights we would've gotten a W out of it... maybe even a rare convincing one.

Instead we played the defending NBA champs, who have our number along with everyone elses... and are on a historic run. It's a bit unreal.

Too bad were playing so far below our own potential. Night guys.

 

Great effort especially fronm Harden

Capela is a pos. flashes of ok, and the rest trash- can't even dunk wide open

Bev and Lawson are trash

Howard is a liability bc the league can't fairly officiate him AND he can't make free throws

Ariza is all heart and love the guy

 

Morey such a terrible GM. Gets lucky in Harden trade then puts a bunch of scrubs around Harden while instilling a terrible system that we dont even have the roles players to execute.

 

Pretty much. If the Rockets played with this energy every night they would be sitting pretty right now.

 

yes to whoever called out the harden critics. he can do this every game. how many superstars pull that sht? whole team has big problems, not just harden

So what happened when they lost the lead? Stop saying dumb stuff.

The game got tight the rockets needed to move the ball.

Josh could have done everything Capella did with added play making and an occasional 3 pointer... especially when it's Speights and Green playing.

 

IF a team truly wants Howard on Thursday, Morey needs to get it done.

 

This. Why leave them in down to the final minute only to wave the white flag after an and-one and cut the lead to 8 with over a minute left? Maybe a slim chance but cmon man...

 

Why didn't Josh Smith play tonight?

 

He was garbage in limited minutes.
