Throwing it out of bounds isnt enough. You have to throw it to the opposing player streaking down the floor like a latter day Matt Schaub

Theres a better chance that Jimmy Hoffa turns up in a NY deli than the Rockets have of winning a championship in the James Harden era. Actually there's a better chance that any of you here are eaten by a lion than James Harden ever winning a championship as a first option, anywhere.

I blame timing on this game. On a Saturday, they put this game at 5pm which is abnormal. Of course a great team will win at any game times, but this Rockets team needs all the benefits of rest and sleep because of injuries and mental instability. Quite a few NBA players takes nap before game time, they were sleep walking the whole game. I'm quite sure most road teams usually win early games because they just want to win and gtfo.

Rockets wasn't the only team that played at 5pm, blazers played at 5pm as well. Yet the Blazers were ready and focused. This is all about altitude and taking the game serious and prepared.

 

Rockets are a stupid team. They do a bunch of stuff that just doesn't make sense.

 

It's kind of sad.

On paper, any team with Howard and Harden would be considered super,
but there doesnt seem to be any symbiosis, like Durant/Westbrook or Curry/Thompson.

And on paper, this team s*its all over the Blazers team, but they play like a team.
The Rockets play like 5 good players.

Paraphrasing an Oriental saying,
1 Blazer is a dog, 1 Rockets is a dragon.
5 Blazers are a dragon, 5 Rockets are a dog.

 

At least the Rockets held them to under 100 pts.

A lot of people think I hate Dwight because I want to trade him but really I just recognize that he and Harden never really meshed. The Rockets need their big to make free throws and doesn't whine. Both Harden and Howard are flawed but Harden fits our system. If we keep both we need another superstar like Durant who they will both listen too and we need Thibs.
