LOL, Batuum and Walker go for 49 points , yet Lin Fans credit Lin for the victory.

Obviously Batuum is the more significant player for the Hornets

I'm really salty that Jeremy Lin scored 7 points. Just super salty. Are you always a complete loser or just in this thread? Nevermind, I have a pretty good idea.

The Thunder? Are you a Rockets fan? I blame him for Portland. We got an incompetent back up point guard, so we got rid of him.

Oh the Thunder series, he got a 'bruised chest' injury. Beverly stepped up in the series, but Rockets fans remember that.

I was looking at the Super Bowl prop bets and saw that Las Vegas has set the odds at 5-1 that Jeremy Lin misses a playoff game this year due to mig0s's rough handling of Lin's testicles.

I think most Rockets fans don't hold the abovementioned Thunder game and its relationship to Jeremy Lin with that much significance.

However, as we all know, the Blazers series is a completely different instance that was somewhat defining for Jeremy, from the perspective of loyal Rockets fans and in terms of Lin's career as it is developing. If we're being fair, it didn't help to move his career trajectory down the path he likely envisioned for himself.

Personally, I think the minutes that Lin is getting this year are very generous, especially when you look at the Hornets' roster. When Big Al is healthy, the minutes are going to drastically change for a lot of players on that team.

I had the chance to watch this game after the Rockets, obviously to watch family friend NeNe, but I was disappointed with his injury-related absence. Overall, it was a good game with the Hornets making better decisions in the clutch. Still, it made me think about how certain players, throughout the league, use their time on the court more effectively than others.

Marvin Williams, who is still very underrated (despite the injuries that temporarily slowed down his career), only got 6 more minutes than Lin along with one more fg attempt. Heck, even a guy like Jeremy Lamb, a should-be 23 year-old stud who has been poorly coached/managed his entire career, only played 14 minutes.

Anyway, that roster has individual guys who are incredibly talented, either at Jeremy's level or above, so the distribution of minutes from game-to-game is interesting, but more or less "friendly" for Jeremy. That's not taking anything away from his contribution on the court (He's earned his time after decent games here and there), but Coach Cliff is giving Lin some good minutes, even when his stats greatly fluctuate. I'm sure he's happy to be playing there.

I have said that he has played a decent season so far, but like his time in Houston and Los Angeles, JLin seems to need heavy, heavy minutes to do damage in the box score.
Some players need 25 minutes to drop 20 points or attain a double-double, whereas some need 38 or more. Spencer Hawes used his 18 minutes very effectively: 14/4/2 blks...

In order to ever be a starter again, he'll have to use his minutes more wisely or find another system that fits his game. I hope he didn't anticipate starting over Killa Kem. Once that kid plays under more control, he's going to be a problem. If he and Big Al can find a way to click consistently, that's a pretty good duo. The Hornets have some pieces that could make them contenders sooner than later. That is, if they can manage to keep Nic Batum, Kemba and Big Al together. Lamb will have his moment, once he completely shake off the young-gun rust. I'm not in the group that thinks he's going to be mediocre.

Good win for the Hornets with some late JLin buckets in the 4th.

A player that can create his own shot in the clutch and can knock down a 3 in the clutch.

While our players stand around & watch as Harden takes bailout shot after bailout shot.

Yes you're salty because Lin only shot 5 times and you have that urge inside your body to discredit him by saying he 'only scored 7 points' despite the fact that Lin nailed the clutch 3 to seal the victory. Yup either super salty or low IQ. If someone goes 2-2 FG and scored 4 points, is he bad?
