What is it with you? First of all, there are people that hate Johnny Manziel. Some don't like him because he's an Aggie. Some don't like him because he was cocky and did that stupid money sign thing. Some people were jealous of the guy. And I'm sure you are one of those people who hate him. You love to crap on the guy every chance you get. I am not saying he should get anymore chances. I said that "maybe" he has a substance abuse problem, because I don't know exactly what his problem is. I said maybe he has mental problems. I don't know exactly what his problem is. Maybe he went to rehab at the Browns request, but maybe his problems are more psychological. I don't know exactly what his problems are and neither do you. I was just giving my opinion. You really seem obsessed with Manziel.

How is discussing the issues on hand "crapping on him"??? I'd love to see your examples of me "crapping on the guy every chance I get." Please explain why talking about his transgressions and subsequent below average on-the-field results is "hating on him".... I've merely maintained that he's been less than stellar on the field, and his off-the-field antics pushes him over the edge to be any sort of future prospect in this league (is that really inaccurate?...or is it just me "hating"?) You honestly sound like a jilted Manziel zealot that got the curtains pulled back on him to reveal who he really is... "maybe he went to hand gesture rehab... maybe he went to rehab for being too awesome" (just added a few more conditions to your skepticism that he may or may not have a problem).

Who says valid criticism of Manziel is hate? He's a millionaire athlete mentally unfit for the most demanding job in all of professional sports. If after rigorous testing and training, NASA finds you unfit to become an astronaut - another demanding job - are they simply hating upon you. No! You had a fair chance and assessment. Perhaps your place is sitting behind a desk at mission control rather than orbiting outter space.
ROFL ... I got absolutely skewered for my opinion on Manziel after his final game at A&M, both in the CF thread and with some choice negrep.
I think Manziel had a chance to be good.He was a first round pick for a reason.1st round QB's rarely pan out so your opinion resided with the majority. I think everyone could see that he wasn't your traditional QB with desicion making, but he was a play maker, much like Cam Newton was at Auburn. Manziel had poor leadership in life and he obviously has a mental problem that is more serious than the game of football. Personally I feel really bad for the kid. Millionaire and all, it sucks to see the train wreck occur and can only hope it doesn't get worse because he needs big time help.

Didn't have the body type to withstand hits... didn't have one appreciable above-average QB skill (no, "play-making" is not a skill).

Johnny Manziel hit Colleen Crowley so hard that it ruptured her left eardrum, according to Crowley's attorney. https://t.co/0Mr5bCtiti
— SportsCenter (@SportsCenter) February 8, 2016
It began on Jan. 29, when Crowley went out to dinner with three other people. Next, they went to Sidebar for about 20 minutes, then to Clutch Bar, where Crowley parked her car. From there, after another 20 minutes they took an Uber to a club called Travis. While there, the group texted some other friends, including Manziel, about an after party at Hotel ZaZa. "We planned to spend the night together in his room there," Crowley said. Somehow, they got Crowley’s car back from where it had been parked, and at about 1:45 a.m. drove over to Hotel ZaZa. They hung out in Manziel’s room for a bit, then Crowley’s three friends left. Once the two were alone, they started talking "about things I had heard earlier in the week about him being with a girl who had caused us problems in the past," Crowley said. If she stayed, she told Manziel, she would be sleeping on the couch. Manziel threw her on the bed. She tried to leave, but he "restrained her" from opening his room door. She tried to fight him off and "became very scared he was going to hurt me." After the two got back to Crowley’s Fort Worth apartment, Crowley said, the fight continued but was "more verbal than physical." Manziel smashed Crowley’s phone on the tile, so she grabbed her computer to try and FaceTime her parents. Manziel, who had been pacing outside, returned and asked if she had tried to FaceTime. She said no, but he went over and saw her computer. "I was in my kitchen so out of fear for my life, I pulled a knife out of my knife block and advanced toward him," Crowley said. "He ran out of the apartment. I threw the knife down and followed behind him to make sure he had gone." Manziel was still in the parking lot, so she banged on her neighbor’s door. When an upstairs neighbor asked if she needed help, she screamed, "Yes!" That’s when Manziel ran away. Crowley’s request for a restraining order was granted, and it requires Manziel to stay away from her for two years, WFAA in Dallas has reported. Dallas police also are investigating. http://deadspin.com/affidavit-johnny-manziel-restrained-beat-and-threate-1757855165?utm_campaign=socialflow_deadspin_twitter&utm_source=deadspin_twitter&utm_medium=socialflow
