Bernie, unlike Hillary and Obama, would not put a policy in place (re: Obamacare) that would be widdled down into a complete train wreck, just for the sake of change and tagging their legacy to it. Some of realize that Bernie will not get his full socialist dream and also understand its pointless to base your vote on subjects and policies that are largely irrelevant. The real kicker is the Republicans refuse to put out a competent candidate and let the likes of Trump represent them. The Republicans are catering to a group that is nominating an unelectable candidate in the general election. If you look past the social agenda's of Republican candidates, one will see they are no different than the liberals the despise.
I was definitely irritated at Hillary after the debate. She tried to portray Sanders as a self-appointed gatekeeper on progressivism which just swallowed up a huge portion of the debate for no reason. All Sanders did was hold her accountable to what she said, would that be a crazy request if lets say a citizen of the united states held their president accountable to what he/she said? Hillary keeps showing she does not understand what it means to be accountable for her actions. Stupidly used a private server while performing public service (the FBI is still pissed about this, took ill-advised donations from a lengthy list of Wall street bankers, ridiculous "speaking fees", etc etc. It just shows her views of whats right and wrong are extremely fluid. I don't think she would ever be impeached if elected, but this is the kind of thinking that leads to a Watergate scandal. Just can't trust her, especially when you have the gold standard right next to her in Bernie Sanders.
what the hell is a "once of knowledge" and a "Libetards" ??? i thought it was just a few rockets fans going back and forth about politics. i didn't know i would be conversing with a genius like yourself.
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/ounce http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Libtard&defid=1454864
You do realize that not only in your original post, but as well as your second "fix" post, that you spelled "once" both times, not "ounce".
This r****d. Spends the time to fix something, still ****s up his post. Is it pretty much true that people thinking of names that they think are whitty, like "libtard" , are all as stupid as you? One party consistently cites scientific evidence while the other cites god. One party has a celebrity wannabee politician winning support from voters too stupid to make an informed decision (polls show the majority only have a highschool level education like yourself), so much so that even the candidate himself poked fun at it. One party raises hypocrites blaming the president for things like PTSD and vaccine induced autism liars. I have to ask, what happened to your unwavering Donald Trump support? Did talking to some "libtards" on here actually inform you some? God forbid you or exiled actually egdeumuckate yourselves. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=270920&page=8
I tried to tell AroundTheWorld that this guy was on the same level as Exiled, but he actually thought he was just a normal conservative (may not have been wrong since "normal" is something else for them folk'). Its sad watching this. ATW if you read this thread or his other posts and still support him...
I found it funny that you people obsess over some misspelled word so you can avoid the shame of supporting a lunatic. You have no business of calling any name when you support a guy who says global warming causes terrorism.
You do realize that Trump's popularity is based on 8 years of incompetence by a president voted by libetards like yourself, right? What happened to the "change" that was promised by him. All he did was divide the country and give 150 billion to a oppressive regime.
Ok so I guess I got the answer to my question that no one really answered. Bernie thinks "Wall Street" is based on fraud. I'm guessing he feels the same way about anything in the financial industry. Does he feel the same way if a company is private instead of being publicly listed? Or does sheer size a company (like HEB, Koch, Cargill, State Farm, Mars, etc) make them "Wall Street"? Or is it if he simply disagrees with their business model that makes them "Wall Street"?
I hate to ever sound like BigPuffery but that was a really lazy post Robbie. Democratic Socialism is only about regulating capitalism so that is subject to moral and ethical standards of the People. Unregulated capitalism naturally leads to monopolies and oligarchies with privatized profits and socialized risk, exaggerated boom and bust cycles and a disregard for the general welfare for short term economic goals. It is the guiding economic principle of the United States since the Roosevelt Presidencies. But it has been under assault from the mega-rich that own the means of the public narrative for the last 30 or 40 years using the 'communism' mantra and geo-politics for justification.
Well, we've turned completely into an oligarchy by any objective measure, and that's not because of a mantra but because of a careful purchase of the political process -- lock, stock and barrel. The oligarchy will purchase this election for their buddy Hillary Clinton (or maybe Rubio, since they clearly won't be able to foist Bush upon the populace this time). And nothing will really change. Work locally, people, while we still can. State and local is being quickly purchased as well.
He said it in the debate. I fully recognize the problems with lack of regulation. I'm all for intelligent regulation and I don't think I have ever said I was against it (except for the government regulating my pay now ). We have a pretty regulated system as it stands and it is nothing close to a free market or unregulated capitalist system. Do you feel the same way or do you feel that we have an unregulated capitalist system? I don't exactly know what truly needs to be more regulated on Wall Street. If you have any suggestions throw them out there for me. Also, I don't know who Bernie is referring to when he says Wall Street. I'm not trying to be obtuse. I just have absolutely zero idea what he means by Wall Street other than it being a euphemism for bankers and finance in general. When I think of Wall Street I think of the entire stock market and all the companies in the market. As an aside, I can think of one thing that does need to be regulated with publicly traded companies and that is stock buybacks. They are horribly timed, often abused, and a waste of shareholder's money. I've been thinking over the past couple of days about how you could properly adjust the rules for buybacks in order to make them more efficient and less abused. http://www.marketwatch.com/story/sh...ill-end-badly-2016-02-04?mod=mw_share_twitter http://www.bloombergview.com/articles/2015-11-11/why-corporate-management-loves-share-buybacks Check it out if you are bored or whatever.
Lol at least i could tell the difference between a fetus and a new born. This election is by default (Hillary v. 2 guys who can't win it, and another guy who try his best not to win ) ,why anyone would be excited about it!
We have a system where money talks and BS walks. It isnt exactly regulated for the small folk's benefit. Look at the mega beast AT&T has become.(again) I agree with you on this. I dont believe Bernie is anti-capitalist or anti-big business, just anti-corruption and manipulation. I only wonder if he knows how to separate the difference and understand the unintended consequences.
