Nah I think the first leak happened from Ainge, the original source was Ainge's ..mouthpiece. And it's to pressure Atlanta and most likely Denver.
The second report from ESPN is clearly from Morrey though.

    GM wars.

I reckon Dwight will be a beast in the playoffs, he may decline significantly over the next years or not, but I think, regardless, he'll still continue to produce in the most important games.

So, I hope that whatever the outcome of the negotiations, we can keep him.

I agree that's why I think you have to keep him. In the playoffs he's a different animal especailly on defense.

At the end of the day if James Harden and dwight howard are playing at their peak there tough out for any team warriors and Spurs included.

Do you really think that one of the best teams in the league, right now aiming to match a historical record, tought to be almost impossible to reach, is going to trade his starting forward, homegrown, just because is afraid to lose it for nothing.

I disagree, they are good, confident and have a very good executive staff. Please explain.

Barnes is not going anywhere this year and that goes for any of the immediate core of the GSW.

Malakas - Heard they are looking for a shooter. They have contacted the Lakers about Nick Young and Lou Williams.

Cool, I guess they aren't looking for a good shooter.

Thanks Cyber. Do you know what Lakers asking price is for Lou? He would be great for this team.

Looking for a report from cyberx in some day: "Durant is also interested in joining the Rockets."

Lou is so reasonably priced too. First year in a 3 year @ 21 mil.

A young player. Maybe KJ? I know they are trying to shed salary. Lakers also asked if they wanted to take Bass too. They think he deserves to be on a contender.

Also - if Hibbert is bought out (likely) look for Houston to explore that as well. (min deal for rest of the year)

The "Morey Seeking Shooter" thing seems to be the consensus we are hearing from all angles. Calvin Watkins pretty much has been told this is priority.

Which tells us that the "Blow it up" crowd isn't getting their wish this year. The Rockets & Morey are sold that they only need some fine tuning instead of a major overhaul.

Lou Williams, or Nick Young... Damn if they want to keep max cap space open for this Summer I don't get how it makes sense to take on more mid sized deals. Its just going to make the pitch to Durant that much more hard to visualize to Durant and his agent (a situation where I personally believe hurt the Rockets chances with LMA this past Summer).

    ...........

Only type of deal I could see Morey really truly gunning for would be a Brewer/KJ for Lou/Bass type of deal. Maybe the Rockets throw in a 2nd rounder or two if they have any left of value. That way it helps shed some salary for next Summer (I think a deal like this frees up 4 mil), helps their team now, and the Lakers get KJ (young prospect) & some draft considerations. Brewer probably helps them about as much as Lou does coached by Byron Scott as well (who has been terrible for Lou).

Hibbert for free would be incredible. It would allow Dwight to rest more. I also love the idea of adding Lou Williams on this team. Thanks for the information Cyber, it's nice to see you posting regularly again.

Interesting. Can you share with us any info as to how you are coming up with that info? Like has there been dialog between the Rockets and JVG's reps, or JVG too? Any interest back that makes you feel confident?

KJ for Lou would really help both teams. Lou at 7 mil over next few years is a steal... I wonder if Hibbert would want to come here? Boston seems like a good destination for him as well
