I think it would be very interesting to see Blake Griffin away from Chris Paul. Clearly as a 1-2 combo in PNR they are deadly, but I would love to see Griffin expand his game on his own. He is a pretty good passer. You could run the offense through him. There is more potential there that is untapped because CP3 drives the ship.
Agreed. Blake has expanded his game tremendously since he came into the league, offensively. He still has explosion, but he's a very solid mid range player who can also create off the dribble and has become a great creator in general.
I'll correct you on this one. For a big, Blake is an excellent passer. He excelled in those two games without CP3 during the WC Semifinals. I think he averaged 5 or so assists each game. I think we found ourselves in a 2-game trough due to a combination of that and the tailspin funk of Harden losing the MVP on the eve of Game 1.

The rockets would still have ariza and brewer in that trade and playing Dudley at pf does not help the rebounding issue. In your trade we would be giving up on McDaniels as well. They need to get a wing and another vet Pf/c for tj and brewer. They could also use another playmaking combo guard that's less streaky than Thornton and less of a defensive liability than Lawson or Terry.
