He was the deserved MVP last season and showed that he was better than Harden. I called Curry a better player than Harden last season itself and the delusional homers got wild. I must admit I thought he was just better. I was wrong. Curry is so much better and the gap has only got wider.
This is why the Rockets should just start a rebuild as soon as possible. The Warriors aren't going away anytime soon. The fans in Cleveland, San Antonio, and OKC have to be pissed. They have good teams, but their only hope for a Championship is for Curry and friends to get injured.
I was like you once. As my fandom for the Rockets has evolved I have become less of a player/NBA fan and just more of a Houston Rockets fan. I realize how great Curry is and what GSW is doing in the NBA is unprecedented, yet I find myself not being able to care about any of it. I'm more of a "well that happened" fan, instead of a "I can't believe this is happening!" fan.
I'm the same. For some reason people think you're expected to just adore the Warriors nowadays. They're obviously great and obviously an amazing team, but I'm not actively rooting for them or anything.
Every time Curry goes off (which is often) you make it a point to say you were the only one to say Curry was better than Harden when Curry was a freshman at Davidson. Who are you trying to convince?
