Measly "celebration". There were more than 5 people Ziggy. ;)

Herman: "I hope this is the last one we do because we're knee deep in the middle of our winter offseason trying to prepare for the 2016 season but tremendous thanks to Mayor Turner and his staff for putting this together and getting all these great people out not only celebrating our team but the city of Houston and the revitalization of college football here in this city."

    *******. :p

This is stopping you from preparing? Back on your way Tom.

Sold several non-Coog friends on the HTownTakeover yesterday.

Damn it feels good to be a Coog.

And it's only going to get better.

Last I read Arkansas and Florida are the frontrunners but who knows with these 17-18 year olds.

He'll announce his top two sometime today before making his final decision tomorrow at 8 AM. Final two are expected to be TCU and Florida.

He took his last OV to the Gators over the weekend. I saw he dropped the "UH Commit" from his tweeter bio. I'm pretty sure he is going elsewhere but that is just the feeling I get from all the love he has been showing the other schools and his comments about making his own decision. I wonder if losing Drew Mehringer has hurt Tyrie's commitment since he was director of recruiting and wide receivers coach. Others more in the know have stated the family is pressing him to go elsewhere. We'll see tomorrow.

Good news is Samples transferred in from OSU and has been working out since last year while sitting out per NCAA. I think he can be a really good WR in this offense. Many said he looked awesome in fall workouts. Don't get me wrong I would love to see Tyrie's speed and elusiveness in Houston but Samples will be more prepared than Cleveland, or Lark for this season.

I guess the Klein Oak DB that de-committed and went to Utah didn't really count.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, this guy will be U.H.'s J.J. Watt, just at the safety position.

Judging from his recent posts he's heading to Florida.

    Can't win em all.

Tyrie is skipping it because he is still undecided apparently.

The Coogs social media presence is quite impressive. They have ZRo, Bun B, Paul Wall, Andre Ware, DJ Hayden and Case Keenum so far doing welcome videos for the recruits as their LOI comes in.

He just showed up and will be announcing soon. Florida is the heavy favorite.

I can't blame a kid for wanting to go to Florida, but you know Big Ed has been working him hard. Either way I'll be rooting for him.
