Dwight Howard suspended for tonight's game against the Heat

it's becoming easy to bait Howard, cause everyone knows he'll retaliate and easily tick him off.

 

NBA hates Howard, Howard should know he's on their watch list.

 

It is not all on the NBA, I have seen Howard get a "T" on purpose to get out of a game.

He is 50% of the blame here - why is it that ONLY Howard is having this problem and not Whiteside, or Cousins, or Jordan or....well you get the idea.

Players know they can bother him, he is not strong enough mentally - and they pray on the weak - same way players go AT Jeremy Lin because they know he will back down.

You did not see this with Hakeem - or Kareem, or Ewing etc..etc..etc....

Dwight now leads the league in Technicals with 12. Six more and he will get another one game suspension.

The NBA needs a complete and total revamp of way the game is officiated. It's been proven that humans cannot officiate the game accurately in real time. It's simply impossible to do and new methods must be developed. The way reviews were implemented is just pathetic, but at least they don't take 5-8 minutes to make a decision this season (most of the time).

I don't expect any changes coming from the NBA, though. Remember the fines for flopping? Yeah, me neither.

People from the other teams point to how many FTs Harden shoots that we get preferential treatment by refs, but the rest of the team gets shafted -__-

 

The contact with the ref seems to happen before the ref chops away Dwight's arm right? Dwight places his hand on the refs upper left arm, ref chops it away.

Well Bogut's screen is just a dirty play...as he essentially grabs the leg of Shumpert...(hands down one of the dirtiest players in the league)

Green's screen is boderline (as he does minimally extend his elbow into the defender, but quickly gets "skinny" once Curry has space).. Green's play is much more common in today's NBA.

 

why is bogut being brought up? That's not even him. Its David Lee in the video

 

OK, dirty play by Nene, dumb push by Howard earning the T.......then Howard swipes away at the officials arm - dumb play by Howard.

I think he deserves the suspension......and HE KNOWS better.

Frustration or not - there are better ways to deal with that then pushing a refs arm away....that is NOT SMART - and unfortunately typical of how Howard reacts.

He makes it worse on himself so often.
