Well, that explains the high rate of underdeveloped brains in Dallas.

    That sucks.

Looking up the virus, i'm glad to see it doesn't basically guarantee you death like Ebola does. Seems like most of the risk is in pregnant women, only 1 in 5 people actually get symptoms but its usually mild and goes away within days to to a week or two.

First Ebola, now Zika? So jelly of Dallas right now.

But in all seriousness, I hope this doesn't become an epidemic. Hits too close to home

Damn so is this going to start becoming an annual thing now? Every year some new virus spreads without a vaccine. I mean one of these days it's going to be a legitimately lethal virus that spreads airborne. In that case, we are truly f***ed.

No, I'm pretty sure that once you get a mosquito bite with Zika in it that you can become microcephalic. (I'm just doing this to encourage photochops updating Mark Cuban and the Mavs' roster.)

some people have suggested that the Zika virus was a genetically modified experiment gone wrong...And signs point to the source of origin some where around South America. Regardless...One of the saddest things to see in medicine is a newborn with a significant cephalic deformity.

Obviously not content with fire ants and killer bees, the Boys from Brazil have now unleashed this upon us. Thanks, Nazis!

I am prepared to do whatever it takes to formally cede Dallas to Oklahoma.

I see this, but isn't this only a problem with the unborn and young children? Can adults be affected by microcephaly, is the affects nearly as sever as it is with children?

If a women gets the Zika virus, if she gets pregnant and has a baby a year or years after will the baby still have elevated chances of having microcephaly? Or can babies only be affected if the outbreak happens while they are developing in the womb?

I'm googling but I cant seem to find specific answers to these questions.

Is it true that the Zika virus mosquito chew baby head and make it small? I heard it on the radio, but you can't believe everything you hear.

I was in Dallas last year. And I've had sexual intercourse.

This hits too close to home. Scary stuff.

They are talking about the kind of sex you have with other people. You will be fine. It's not that close to home.
