The video shows an official signal a double foul. None was called. T is called much later than the shove, which officials said earned the T. — Jonathan Feigen

I have a feeling that the refs won't respect the Rockets anymore after JBBs statements. They'll likely start officiating the Rockets much differently. Which freaking blows.

The ref didn't beat on him, he has no business touching the refs. Maybe you open your eyes and see what he has been suspended for.

This is nonsense, so a player can't get emotional now? Ow yeah, right, they implemented rules for robots a few years ago...lol @ the ref who got touched, he didn't do anything but the white boy stuck up for him.

easy for someone to sit back and say all this when you're not the one in the moment. Howard has taken plenty of contact over the course of that game and the refs have done nothing to take control of the game. Dudley can go over his shoulders and grab him without even going for the ball and receive a mere personal foul. Had that been Dwight the refs would go to the monitors and call a flagrant 1. Things like this get to this point when the refs fail to do their job

    This is really shady.

Look, I'm not saying Dwight Howard should be able to slap away the hand of an official. Discipline is warranted. But the video CLEARLY shows that's what he was ejected for on Saturday night. I mean, it's not even disputable. The official came in and called a double-foul after the initial skirmish. He then walked in and put his arms out to try and further separate the players. Dwight slapped his arm down, the other official saw it and immediately called a T and threw Dwight out of the game. See video a few posts above.

However, after the game, the NBA's official explanation was that the T came for Dwight's shove of Nene. That is completely false, and many reporters said as such on Saturday night.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Goble is full of it. Ervin called double fouls on Howard &amp; Nene for the initial shoving. Tiven called the T after Howard moved Ervins hand</p>&mdash; Adam Spolane (@AdamSpolane) <a href="https://twitter.com/AdamSpolane/status/693655316588658688">January 31, 2016</a></blockquote>
    <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

It was annoying and curious to me why the NBA didn't own up to what actually happened, but I didn't understand why. Now, it makes sense. Based on their rewriting of history, Dwight didn't technically receive any formal discipline for what he did to the ref. As such, it makes the justification for this suspension that much easier.

    How convenient.

There was no reason for that referee to touch Dwight!!!!! They didn't need to be separated so this was just the referee baiting Dwight to put his arm away.

We must become villains. There is no way we will ever get any calls . Up the physicality , we are going to have to start becoming the aggressors if we want any sort of fairness from the refs. It's time to take this **** to another level.

I was watching espn & they just ran a spot on Dwight Howard's behavior. Chris Brussard actually said that Howard was reffed differently! He also said that the Rockets org was telling Dwight to calm down & stay on the court. Chris agreed with this.

This was the most positive thing about Howard I've heard out of Brussard.

He deserves it. You can't do that, everyone knows it, there's nothing shocking here at all. Yes, he is officiated terribly. Yes, he has a right to be angry about it. That does not give him the right to make physical contact with an official.

This team sucks so bad in every possible way.

I know I am in the minority here, but this is on Dwight. It is dumb beyond belief to swat away the hand of the official. Deserves the suspension.

Last 3 games Dwight has hung us out to dry. Countless times he gets himself into foul trouble by blatantly pushing people. Sick of it.
