Every time she lies in public about the issue, it factors in. She has lied constantly. People didnt trust her before the investigation; now.......

Really? I've yet to see her indicted for lying.....I've yet to see anyone prove she is lying. Just because u dont like the TRUTH, doesnt mean it is a lie.

Well actually when the emails started coming out they proved that she was lying when she first said that there wasn't any classified information on her private server. I mean, other than the evidence proving that she was lying I guess you could say that nothing else shows it.

Iowa isnt irrelevant but nor is it a leading factor in anything. Its a barometer in determining if early polling data is on par. For example, Bernies increase of support is accurate and Hillary is starting to struggle against him.

We also learned that what we suspected in Trump; He is pulling the moderate vote. We also know for certain its all about Cruz, Rubio and Trump (we've known this except for Rubio). Rubio could be the dark horse in this race.

It'll be interesting to see who else drops out after tonight. You've gotta think all of those at 2% or less will be facing a lot of pressure to just give it up. Especially those that did worse than Huckabee who already dropped out.

Well, with 95% of precints reporting, they are in a statistical tie. From the standpoint that Bernie is the huge underdog in this race, he needed to win Iowa. That followed by a decisive win NH could have given him some needed momentum going into SC. Don't know what happens now.

Um....it has been said by Sen. Feinstein that the emails (the 22) were not classified when they were sent to her. They were classified later.

Sen. Feinstein wouldn't know since the content has not been released. Lets take this to the proper thread.

    What does Iowa mean?

As Britt Hume stated earlier tonight in his analysis, Iowa doesn't always pick the eventual winner but it does pick out the losers.

    Losers tonight:

    Bush
    Huckabee
    Fiorina
    Christie
    Kasich
    Carson
    Santorum
    Paul

Its a 3 man race in the GOP now. It will be REALLY interesting if any of the above "losers" can break through in New Hampshire cause if they don't, they are done. It also will be very interesting to see if Trump is hurt there. He probably wins New Hampshire anyways but maybe not nearly as overwhelmingly as the polls say tonight.

Meanwhile, I think Hillary won by not losing tonight. She needed to avoid going 0 for 2 in the first 2 states. She was able to stem the Sanders momentum and that was really what Sanders had going for him and desperately needed to stand a chance in the more conservative states after New Hampshire. I predict she sweeps the southern primaries pretty soundly and Sanders is out by mid March.

Even if that's true, and there's not really any evidence of that, what about the other 1300?

I'm not a huge Hillary fan, but we both know that Iowa isn't the deciding factor, especially in an election like this.

Nobody really took a "huge blow" tonight. The only one who looked visibly shaken was Trump. That whole "I might buy a farm" showed his discomfort with being 2nd (without a doubt...since he loves that term) for the first time.

We both know that Donald isn't in trouble after this either. Be fair.

I don't know about that. He was way ahead in the polls and almost came in 3rd....

Biggest loser of the night is Jeb Bush, he spent a TON of money in this state, a lot of which on attack ads against Rubio and Jeb finished at 3% while Rubio out-performed his polls and was right behind Trump for 3rd.

I have no idea what trump supporters will think after he has lost. His whole personality is based off being a 'winner'. I could seem him falling apart.

I agree. It certainly takes a lot of the steam out of the "inevitability" train. Especially since Rubio almost overtook him too.
