Not the refs every night that give up 110 plus points. All teams are doing is putting James and D12 (or anyone else for that matter) in PnR and watch open shots happen!!
Unfortunately in the WWNBA . . .50% of the game depends on the Refs If they call it tight in the 1st quarter . . you big man gets 2 fouls in the 1st minute It d*mn sure does make a difference the rest of the game A bad call or tow TOTALLY affects the game from a personel, mental and physical parts of the game to say otherwise is stupid and disingenuous Rocket River
Don't get me wrong....refs do affect a couple of games one way or the other, but it is the Rockets who have put themselves in this situation with poor team design (too small and reliance on 3 pt shooting, without real 3 pt threats) and a serious lack of defensive effort. Refs do give great teams better calls in the NBA and it has always been that way. Therefore we need to become better and not play at the same low level as other scrub teams. It is on us to do this, not the refs.
If you can't see how Dwight is treated then you are not a true Rockets fan. Stop and look at the footage and you tell me with a bold face.
I have to agree for the most part. It's extremely rare for us to blow out a team, even the weakest teams in the league. When we get leads, we almost always let the other team back in. It's a big problem.
Yep, certainly the case there. Is it the ref's fault that they live and die by the three point shot? I wonder about that, if anything. A basketball team that lives and dies by the three pointer is not championship material in ANY league, period, let alone be one of the worst defensive teams out there.
