Would have won this game with DMo on the squad.

Rockets are supposed to blow this team up from start to finish. Dwight is the dumbest center in the game. JB is not head coach material. Officiating has been terrible. Rockets season is the most frustrating season ever. Somebody in the organization should react to this MESS!

Because we don't play defense. You absolutely must get a stop and you give up an uncontested layup off of an inbound pass from the baseline. Not only that but JB didn't bother to put in Capela or Smith for rim protection or rebounding.

This a horribly coached team, folks. At best, they'll sneak into the playoffs and promptly get swept. Honestly, I'd rather they just blow it up now and keep that draft pick heading into the summer.

 

I am not saying they count. I am saying the information that was given was wrong, Newton.

 

The team needed him and he failed them 2 nights in a row. Yes one of the techs may not have been warranted in both games but it takes 2 to be ejected and you have to understand the situation. He's still immature and can't control his emotions after all these years it's just sad.

DMo had a nice run last season but he's looked absolutely scrubby the few minutes he's played for us this season.

Damn Brewer only 5pts in 30 minutes of play. Right there is the game, if only he could've scored at least 10pts.

For the first time in 22 yrs I have lost interest in watching this team. Never felt about this way prior to this season

 

Agreed on JB's error.

We brought the Smithsonian for some veteran leadership. This game is where you needed it.

In fairness to Josh, I didn't like how JB put him in for the final play after letting him get cold on the bench.

Josh plays with rhythm. If he can't get it, his game is off. That angle from where he shot, even if it was 2-3 feet, is a tough shot with guys flying at you and the clock to worry about.

Clint needs more time to learn. This season has been great experience for him, but I'd rather him learn naturally, rather than through a forced line-up change due to injuries or inconsistent play. He and Dwight had some good games together, but during a game-winning sequence, I'm not comfortable with Clint on the court.

Even with his difficulties, TJ would have been a better choice in those final minutes. Really though, that JSmoov guy may have made the difference. He can spread the floor, which is what James needed to happen. He needed room to operate. You don't have to respect Clint's shot, so during those 4 minutes of nonsense/fouling, Clint wasn't an asset to the team. He was a liability.

I do wish DMo were healthy, but he's not our saving grace. I'm not sure what is...

We're playing better, but it's just not enough. James' 40 points looks crappy in a loss, and I'm sure it bothers him to lose after that kind of output.

I guess our guys will regroup and go at it again next game. The last thing we can afford to happen is slump below .500 again. It's getting too late in the season for that.

 

i think Terry caused us the game tonight.

1. No Defense. While we were 5 pts in the third and James was hot, he let Session make wide open shots after shots. Wizards ended up taking the lead to fourth. Not to mention that 2.4 secs layout.

2. Missed wide open three. Clutch time, he chocked and missed two wide threes.

 

Howard needs to control his temper. I'm tired of Howard not getting calls he deserve. He has a reason to be angry but the coach should be getting upset for his players getting pushed around so that players like Howard don't get ejected. These no calls are causing Howard to get injured. We only loss by one point. The techs changed the game. The refs were helping the other team.

 

Regardless of the refs, the Rockets are not going to win many games when you continually give up 120+ point games. The defense is trash plain and simple and until they make it a priority they will continue to lose.
