Leonard primarily guards Klay. But that one video will spread throughout the internet to propagate the idea Leonard always guards Curry vs Klay. There are times in the GSW transition game that assignments get switched. For instance, someone has to pick up Curry if he's in transition dribbling. Then you have to stick with him. Durant would be the biggest front running loser if he signed with the Warriors this offseason. They clearly don't even need him to kill the competition, he would just be hitching a ride on the bandwagon, ring chasing own his prime. He will lose a ton of respect.
That and he can take time off and rest for extended time during the games and the team is still playing well without him.
