Harden Howard Smith and Lawson Now that we know how important J smooth is and that Ty is beginning to mesh, we have something special brewing in here.
If you could only take each of these 4 guy's best season statistically and combine them, damn that would be awesome. Unfortunately harden is the only one still at his peak.
If you were to tell me two years ago that we'd have Lawson Harden Ariza Smith Howard as a possible lineup... It's crazy how talent doesn't always translate. But, we are trending the right direction...
Collectively I think our talent level is among the elite. If you look at it Smith is an elite shotblocker and ball handler at the PF position. Dwight is also a elite shotblocker and defender. Harden is top 10 player and Lawson is a elite assist man. We just don't have any real 2 way players. But I feel the team can beat anybody if we don't play stupid
Smith gives us that pf we been lacking all year i think we can get 4 seed maybe 3 if we really click. Warriors should be afraid very afraid
WAIT! You mean we can't make gross over-statements about how the Rockets turned their season around and are now Finals favorites and Josh Smith is the one piece that was missing for us and he will probably win MVP after only 2 games? Well if that's the case, I have nothing else to say.
Why do some posters love to set themselves up for a meltdown? Josh is not going to play this well all year. Stop pinning your hopes on hot streaks.
As a Houston Rocket this season Josh Smith is 7 for 24 from the floor with the Rockets..... 2 for 10 from 3.... 50% from the line as a Rocket.... 4 rebounds a game... 4 assists a game... 2.5 blocks a game.... Smith isn't really on a hot streak.... he is typical "Josh Smith", just he fits better with the Rockets because he can handle the ball, stays out of the lane on offense letting Harden get to the basket, can play very well in transition and is completely insane....
cant think of another "little 2" in the league... West/Manu Tristan/ J.R Iggy/ ... Jamal/ ... Ty and Smoove are historically fringe all-star players. Excluding players past their prime (i.e., Pierce, Manu), I can't think of another team with two historically fringe all-star players coming off the bench
True but in terms of turnovers and terrible shot selection, he's going to get worse obviously. Also, if those are the averages expected, then it's kind of hard to call him a BIG anything right? I would call him a key reserve though. Right now he's missing those shots cause of rust. They've almost all been good shots though.
I really wish people would stop coming here from other fan boards and trolling with these crazy first thread posts, lol. Seriously though we barely have a big two most days, lol.
Its crazy how some of the crybaby fans here don't appreciate the talent that Morey has amassed here. This team can be special, its all in how they go forward. The west is a five team race
