James Harden is averaging 28.7ppg 12.3rpg 10.7apg 1spg 50 percent shooting, 44 percent from the past three games
Think the pictureless Director of PR for Rockets has done a great job getting players to pull together and post team together pictures.... Ps you must use great shampoo. Hair is awesome. Hmmm getting props
So everyone is upset that our star player went to the liquor store on Saturday night and bought some liquor, the day before the religious bull**** in the state forces all the liquor stores to be closed state wide? Back to back games Sun/Mon when was he supposed to go? Logistics people.
Haha, yeah it's crazy! Some states are worse than others... But it'd be great if they just dropped all of these. Thx for the rep!
The worst Harden has done as far as turnovers this season has been 21 in a three game stretch. It was 7 turnovers each game. Any 4 game stretch averaged fewer than 7 a game. So for a second time in a row, you've misrepresented Harden's performance this season. I'm not defending his turnovers this season. His pocket-pass turnover kills me a little every time. But you spinning Harden's performance this season in a negative light (such as the misleading comment that he's had 4 games in a row with 10 turnovers each) and ignoring the great games he's given us is just as unhealthy as fans ignoring the fact that his turnovers have cost us wins this season. It's my opinion that you're just as bad as the "Harden fanboys" you attack. Probably worse, because at least they're trying to make this season more enjoyable by being overly optimistic. You're just pissing in the punch. across110thstreet: He's only had 10 or more turnovers in 2 playoff games: Game 5 in Golden State last season (in which he sadly set a playoff record), and Game 4 against OKC in 2013. He's never had 10 turnovers in a regular season game.
If Harden maintains this kind of focus he can do whatever he wants to on his free time. Jordan was famous for his hard partying. He was also famous for his legendary focus on both ends during games. I have no real issue with him adding to his booze stash on a Saturday - who's to say he's the one drinking it. Although it's weird that he didn't send someone to do it - why even bother courting the inquisition... Maybe, however bizarre it may be, Josh Smith is the key to Harden hitting the next level he achieved last year. My issue with him will always be his lack of focus and his sense of ennui with playing defense. If fatigue is an issue, he should cut back on his busy partying schedule. If he's somehow rejuvenated by Smoove and he's killing it on both ends, he'll silence all the doubters with his play.
Goodness gracious. The fact that people actually took the term 4 straight 10 TO games in a row, in such a literal sense speaks volumes about how it's not out of the realm of possibility. It was a hyperbole meant to illustrate how he has had very bad games, and in stretches with a good one here and there---something people use to vindicate him entirely. You'd figure that posting an extreme scenario and using the same number four times in a row would lead people to believe how literal you were being. . And for the last time, I'm not a Harden hater. Up until this year, he was my favorite player. I can't get behind a player that shows he doesn't give a crap in the most obvious of ways. It is insulting to the fans and the team, and to be honest even if he did have a record number of TO but showed a positive attitude and effort on both ends of the floor I would have no complaints. Is asking for a player that gives it his all too much to ask for? How low have some people set the bar? Harden is not above criticism and defending him is not something that is unconditional. It was his own demeanor that turned him into a joke league wide and amongst the fans. Respect , like he garnered last season, is something that is earned and can also be lost. I hope he has a great game every game, we need last year's harden back, and the rockets doing well should be in everybody's best interest. What I can't stand however, is how people can actually excuse Harden's pisspoor play sometimes and place the blame on his teammates. Those are the fanboys I am referencing. They are just as bad as the LOF. Before you attack me, maybe you should read some of larsv8's posts.
