Never knew Josh was such a leader for our team. Since bringing him back, now we are hearing how much of a verbal leader he was....even getting after Harden to play defense.
Brewers contract is hard to move; but I wonder if Brewer/TJ can be moved for Aminu/Gerald Henderson. Couple of rentals going both ways. Portland needs a PF badly. They have been playing Aminu at PF a great deal. He is better filling in at PF a game here or there. Jones would be going back home to Portland. I ran it on the trade tracker....it works. It will give us a punchers chance vs any team. That would improve both teams.

for all his warts (inconsistent shooting, questionable shot selection)......he still makes a huge difference to this team as a rim protector on D and playmaker on offense. i was very unhappy when we let him go last summer because it's so obvious that the entire package of skills he brings to the court simply cannot be replaced (unless you get draymond). glad morey corrected his mistake, but the started out like **** in large part because of it.

Brewer is coming around and has looked great recently. He's back to playing his game and is doing it well.

Jones and DMo are just giving you nothing out there. Time to trade them for a solid starter. We are good 1-3 and 5 just need a starting 4 and Smith off the bench.

Brewer on his own = not that great

Brewer with Smith = well worth his contract

    Brewer feeds of Smith.

If D-mo can get healthy he is the perfect starting 4 for this team.

If they don't think he can, than we need to address the PF issue. Smith works best off the bench, and Capela works best as a reserve 5 playing limited high energy minutes. Jones is dog s**t terrible more often than not, we have to move on from him.

6 3PA's......unafraid to just jack it out there. So un-Terrence. I'll take that 2 for 6 a game anyday....anyday....over Terrence going 2 for 5 over 5 games. It just opens up the court so much and then Smoove can go to town in the paint.

Not even mentioning Smith playmaking that TJones simply isn't capable of. Smith is a better rim protector as well. Jones is just a poor man's Smith. No reason to have him on the roster at this point.

A poor man's Smith except he can't defend. Smith can hold down the middle with Dwight on the bench. Even helping us win the paint and glass with Dwight out altogether and basically a rookie in Capela getting torched inside. The man is an exceptional defender..no doubt a top 5 defender in the entire Association. And that D is simply gas to our backup unit. It just fuels them.

Not going to lie...I didn't think Smith was a huge loss.

I'm not sure if this is a temporary bump against some not great teams, but it's nice to see guys flying around and playing loose again. Having fun.

I honestly had no idea that we were missing Smoove this much! He takes to another level!

Essentially the same team with Ty replacing Prig.

Some of us were really bummed when Josh didn't sign in the summer, now yall see why. Call him chucker, or whatever, give me Smith over TJones any day. Smith plays with talents and heart. He is perfect in our system.

The defense is still pathetic and JB is still clueless. Good chance they don't make the playoffs still.

Smith's play is not a flash in the pan. He played very well for us last year, helping us get to 57 wins.

Dude is just a very talented player.

Don't feel bad. We all make mistakes. IIRC when we first acquired Jason Terry for absolutely nothing I made a post crapping all over that move. So dumb. But eh it happens.

Naw. I think it's about Josh Smith teaching us How to disappear Completely from an NBA rotation being In Limbo on the wrong team and then switch teams in a different scenario and it's like he's out Hunting Bears. Can't feel to Let Down when your team can be turned around by someone else's trash.
