You know, it was easy to miss Terrence Jones' stint out there because Smith was so big, but holy cow Terrence, 1 point, 0 rebounds, and a -11 in ten minutes. Shameful.

 

I still can't believe how lost the Rockets looked without Josh Smith. Everybody looks better (except TJ).

 

It was a fun game, wasn't it? For some reason, nothing is more fun than a game where Josh goes wild.

and just imagine when dwight gets back. can't wait to hear opposing team broadcasters mention "AAU" after every alleyoop :grin:

I want to thank Doc Rivers.

He shows class with trading Josh to the team he want to play for.

 

Someone else made a point here or there can't remember where but basically this was an agent thing. Make Josh happy, do him a solid and make his agent happy and maybe it'll pay off later

I guess really Doc didn't think much of Smith and what he could bring to the Rockets.

Although if we play the Clippers we have to be the faves right? We were already undermanned when we played them last year, we might play them this year with Bev/Dmo/Lawson and all they've added to their team over the summer is Stephenson?

 

Pierce usually always plays well in the playoffs. Was a leader for the Wizards and hit multiple clutch shots for them in the playoffs. They'll probably be the favorite because they'll most likely have home-court. Who knows if D-Mo will ever come back and if he does if he can find his form again. He hasn't looked good at all when he has played.

 

Doc clearly knows Josh was playing great as a Rocket last season.
No matter for what reason, the Clippers should not trade him to their rival -Rockets.

Overall he's been bad but he did have that very very good 19 point game in like 22 min.

I want dmo to take it easy and hopefully be fully healthy for the playoffs.

Is freaking nasty, deep and very very big. With a lot of talent and skill.

I think just maybe this team is going to be the top 3 western confrense Kings many predicted to start the year.

Everything is jelling.

One thing I like which must be from Smooves arrival is the difference in James Hardens game on and off the court. The guy has looked awsome on the court, playing defense take care of the ball rebounding feeding his teamates easy buckets and of course scoring at a effecient clip. He has that bounce in his step again and looks like a legit mvp top 5 player again.

But best of all is he's leading off the court. He's jumping up and down coaching from the side and getting off the bench and greeting his guys in the huddle. It's great stuff and I hope he keeps it up.

Big test coming up for us this week with SA and OKC. If we can play well and dare I say win both games it will go along way in telling us were this team is heading.

I mean a lineup of ty/JH/Ariza/smith/howard

That's 3 plus defenders at the 3/4/5 spot with creaters at the 1/2/4 position with a very good spot up shooter in Ariza from the corner and howard being the elite finisher around the rim.

I like the potential of the team especially if dmo can return with about 10 games remaining to get his legs back.

Ty and JH are starting to play well together and JH is letting ty bring the ball up a little more.

This team hopefully is on the right track and is getting their rythem and chemistry as a unit. I think we can contend this season if the guy keep playing unselfish, dwight is healthy this time around bev is healthy we have ty now this team can make some noise.

 

Great to see us win against the Mavs! I was concerned that we might lose without Dwight, but Josh once again led the way.

Went back to watch the last quarter again. Ty Lawson was doing some good things. Maybe Ty has turned the corner. Also, James was having a good time. He was happy and enjoying himself.

Are the Rockets getting their groove back?
