He hasn't really shown anything special. The way you describe his performance though is exactly like Brewer. Looks lost on defense, no bball iq, just plays hard and keeps attacking without enough thought put into it, runs the break like a maniac.

At least with KJ, he might develop + he's a slightly less horrible 3pt shooter. With Brewer, this is it. And it's useful sometimes. But it's not something KJ can't do.

The problem is JB is best buddies with Brewer so really we should just deal Brewer.

morey made signing kj a priority last summer.

and he's not cracked the lineup and has been only playing in the d-league.

those 2 things obviously dont go hand to hand.

and i've not seen anything special in kj.

You sign him because he is cheap. The nba doesnt end this season you need to do long term planning. The cap is gonna increase so while other people are gonna pay a ton of monwy for the same players the Rox are gonna be paying kj 3M per year. Know why gsw is so stacked? Its because they made steph curry signing a priority and got him on a discount. Kj isnt as good as curry but the principle is the same, u pay now and save later. Just because he doesnt crack the rotation now doesnt mean he sti wont crack it next year or next mext year the dudes like 23 give him some time to work on his game smh.

    Horrible, Horrible thread.

Ariza is our glue. His intangibles go unnoticed. He's dependable every game. When his shot isn't falling, he adapts his game to the defensive end, or he penetrates to the rim.

You won't find many guys as dependable as Ariza who will ACCEPT any role they receive, and by the same token, defend the opponents best player every night.

Do you think Brewer could do what Trev does? No.

His game as become 3=point heavy, but that's what he was ASKED to do.

What people fail to recognize is his defensive pressure, playing the passing lanes and being a great teammate.

Go watch Game 6 against the Clippers and show me how much fight Trev DOESN'T have.

There's plenty of people supporting OP...people praise Battier and then we have someone very similar and even more reliable offensively, someone who works hard and is the glue and intangibles guy Codman is talking about, and some think he can easily be replaced..

Ariza plays best when you have two playmakers on the floor with him. With harden, the emergence of try, and the return of smoove it seems we have this

Ok, Trevor gets to stay a while longer... until his next cold shooting night.

Definitely Corey Brewer, since the coach insists on giving him a ton of minutes over Thornton. Hell, he effing started him today.

No he stays will after the trading deadline. The only trade I am now willing to make is getting a PF. TJones + Dekker don't know what that can get but those two are the only ones worth trading(maybe KJ).

I like me some Thornton, but J.B. is making the right call right now with Brew. He is doing much better lately.
