With how the rockets just stand around and play 1 on 1 on offense, they have no excuse for being too tired to play defense.

I don't even blame the players though. It always has been the systems they run.

Such a waste of talent.

 

oh i'm sorry, it seems a guy can't have a bad shooting night

his bad shooting percentages are only because of his first 5-10 games where he couldn't land anything. Been shooting around 45 percent since then

 

Parsons is a good player.
Pretty good for a player coming off hybrid microfracture surgery.

Hopefully they call him in FA [if he opts out] and attempt to bring him back.

 

Most shots Harden taken are pretty much wide open, he just missed it. It's alright to me because he will get hot eventually. I just don't understand why we don't play Smith ahead of Brewer and Jones. Ty Lawson completely lost without the ball, and Smith didn't fit well with Ty at the 2nd unit.

Are we showcasing Brewer and Jones? or JB is simply dumb?

 

That's the Rockets MO. Have a big first quarter and then give up a huge second quarter to the opponent. They actually sucked defensively in both quarters. They gave up 29 points in each. The difference is the offense covered up those deficiencies in the first.

Put Harden in the post JB. He's getting doubled on every screen and roll. Josh Smith should be in when we want to run to pick and roll over and over again. at least eh'll make the extra pass.

True. Rockets have been very bad last few years to feed the hot hand. Our coaches are too clueless and our players too dumb.

I was so excited during the 1st Quarter

Now I kindve don't want to watch anymore. It's not that it's too far out of reach... nothing like that, it's just that I don't believe in our guys. I know that sucks to say, but it's true. Well, or how they're coached and subbed. Where was Smith all 2nd Q? Why is TJ getting ANY playing time?

Harden is just infuriating sometimes. I'd almost rather watch us with this team and Howard minus Harden, than how we are now.

I know wed be nowhere without him, but without a mentor and some maturity, he won't evolve into anything more.

 

Dallas is better, they have a more cohesive team, they play defense, they have a better coach.

They know their roles.....and they are balanced.

Our team is catering to a guy who likes to party more than he likes to win, we have a GM that builds a 3 and D team without players who can shoot the 3 or play the D.

This team is a mess.

I have an idea...just like with golden state resting curry when needed why not rest Harden versus shooting blanks in the 2nd period like today's game when he's off a bit..don't see what the big deal is with this concept

Dallas Mavs are a perfect example.

This should show Morey and all the other delusional homers with no knowledge like jordnnn and fizzle that coaching does matter.

Mavs lack talent top to bottom and yet their record usurps the talent on that roster.

They have no top 50 players in the league, no players who are top 5 in their position, no super star, no all star and yet the sum of the parts is greater than the whole thanks to a good coaching and a system
