Wishful thinking on Ty..... he has not been good in many seasons now.

I actually wish he could have stayed in Houston, and that Houston would have hired a coach that could (1) keep its star players to play well with others and (2) do more than clap and tell players to play harder. And I wish Daryl Morey would have shown more loyalty to players and done more to get the team more continuity. I liked the pieces this team had in Lin's first season in Houston...the second year, there was nothing for Lin to work with on the second team (no good shooters other than Daniels, who barely saw any playing time, no good PnR players, no good transition players other than Casspi).

So no...I actually do wish that Lin had been able to stay with the Rockets and would rather have seen changes in coaching an personnel decisions.

Lin was trying to adjust to his ever changing role with the rockets and giving 100% effort but unfortunately things did not worked in his favor here. Imagine he made that lay up and the balls was called out of bounds by the refs on mo williams steal attempt and the rockets won those playoff game vs. Portland.... lin actually played great defense against damain lillard before he hitted that series winning 3 pointer. Lin will have a spot in some NBA team for the next 5 years and it will depend on him to continue to improve all his skill sets. I know many of you have a very low opinion about him as an NBA player and even believe he should be out of the league because he is a scrub with horrible skills playing as a pro. I believe lin is a solid NBA player and a good role player on any good NBA team.

Ok, you're going to have to fill me in on how Robert Horry simply turned his game on for the playoffs after being a disaster for an entire season. According to his stats, he started every game that he played in while with the Rockets....doesn't sound like he hit rock bottom at all...

Love how so many people got on Lin when he was here because of how he didn't play well off the ball. I thought he under performed too. But Ty Lawson somehow gets a pass when he has been mostly awful playing in the same situation? Where is all the negative threads and comments about him?

I know Lawson is still probably better than Lin on any other team, and I know Lin had a huge fanbase, but the hypocrisy among some posters is alarming.

There's very little hypocrisy happening here because a lot of posters have made it clear that it's mostly not about Lin per se.
