Honestly that looks pretty small TBH - like a slight twist, surprised he did not come back and play.

I think Dwight will play. Dwight always tries to play.

    Hope he can play Sunday.

I think thats what they are going for anyway. No reason to risk another beverley situation and then have him miss games with the upcoming schedule cause if the Rockets slip up they could find themselves outside the playoffs by the end of next week

Dwight Howard said he's still feeling some pain in his left ankle. Still can't run. He said there's a small chance he can play Sunday. — Calvin Watkins

Dwight Howard said he still had pain when running today. Did not add cutting, jumping, etc. Sounds like very small possibility to play. — Jonathan Feigen

Meh, keep him out. Would love him in there, but no point to rush him back.

Rockets med staff needs to put their foot down. Patrick came back the moment he felt ok and now Dwight says it's painful to run, but yet he might play tomorrow. You don't have to be a doctor to know that's pretty stupid. Bev tweaked his sprain because of this. It's not the playoffs. If the players and coaches aren't listening to the med staff, then Morey or Les need to intervene....and i hope it's not Les himself that's allowing this to happen.

^^ I think a lot of our problems come from les . I think he's seen our success last year and has gotten impatient. It's not a Morey move to fire mchale after 11 games . He built up assets and waited years to try and land someone like James . He planned ahead to get Dwight . I don't see how he fires his coach after 11 games when last season we went to wcf. I don't think he is that concerned about winning games right now that he might try to risk newly signed pat's health . I don't think he listens to fans . I think les might .

    Of course it was Les

Its always the guy who signs the front of the paychecks, no matter if he's a big mouth-look at me owner like Mark Cuban, or rarely seen and never heard owner like Les

And he walk off the court without any limp in his step.

Maybe the Rockets are faking the severity of this injury too?

Today's players are wusses, guys played with much worse back in the day, any minor tweak and they sit.

Good point. Better to 'lurch' around like KMc by the time they're 40.

It's really important that Dwight should play through these injuries. That way people can b**** about how ineffective he is, and that he's not all that good anymore.

Broken foot is way different than a tweaked ankle.

But yes McHale played on, so did Yao.

When he walk back to the locker room, there was no limp. To me howard is taking advantage of any injury he can used to get time off. And the rockets are babying him because of the upcoming free agency.
