You can take him to school as often as you like, there's no indication that any level of schooling will make him learn anything.
Smoove has now played 0 minutes in 10 out of his last 14 games. Is he THAT deep in Doc's doghouse, or has he been injured? That seems unfathomable. I mean, Smoove isn't THAT bad. I'm curious if our locker room would welcome him back, or if they're kind of pissed at him for choosing LAC.
at this point of his career JSmoove is just a bandaid for 1 or 2 years not someone you want to keep around and give a relatively big contract to But yup for 1 or 2 playoff runs if he can be had why not? JSmoove is another player that might end up in the Chinese CBA.
so lets see what happens here for the rest of the season. I can't wait to see what I expect to see across the board as the season goes on
Dude. You lost. My point from the beginning was we lacked depth in our front court. You said we didn't and morey was right to let him go. Now seeing that morey agrees with me, shouldn't you just stop? The point was we needed someone in the front to play with Dmo and Howard injured and others being rookies and inconsistent.
I don't care about that. From the beginning you had no idea what the health was in with Dwight, Jones, Dmo, and Harrell, not to mention the league playing small now so with Ariza and Brewer coming in and playing the 4. That looks pretty crowded to me and obviously JS felt the same way and left. Just shut up and move on from that as youre merely looking at it now like you predicted all this. Now I'll just sit back, eagerly await whats likely to come, especially in the game threads. Lets see this huge "upgrade" take shape by the end of the season.
Haha. You're so childish. You can't admit you're wrong so you change the argument. I and many others did have an idea about Dwight and Dmos health, and I calculated in the offseason that Harrell has played zero games and Jones wasn't an all-star. No sweat though. We both rockets fans. Go Rockets.
No question in my mind that the Rockets lose without Josh Smith tonight. He brought defense, passing, and outright effort that was contagious. Smith made other players play better tonight and that was awesome to see. Now I'm not naive enough to think he'll be that kind of guy every night because I know he has his down nights too, but it was just the big man upgrade the team needed till DMo and Dwight get back healthy.
Aren't these things we've sorely missed at that position? In fact, the whole team? Defense, interior defense other than Dwight and Clint..., passing (by far the best big passing man on our roster), and effort and energy. I think he can keep this up and have a similar impact like last year. I don't see why not, he's done it once, he'll do it again. Too bad Mchale's gone before Smoove came back. Glad to have him back. Let's hope he starts to shoot less or better tho.
At the beginning of the year I didn't think we'd need JSmoove I mean c'mon we had like 5 guys at PF+brew and Ariza who could also play PF. Obv. though injuries are a major factor, I didn't expect DMo would still be injured and Dwight is injured and TJones has been playing bad D 2 out of every 3 games. Seeing him play he definitely brought new energy to the team, sometimes change is good just because it is change, there's some subconscious energy that makes everyone think everything is different now just because one guy came back to the lineup, making JSmoove's impact far bigger than it should really be. I think this trade changes the Rox mentality, and I think they won't be easy outs moving forward I mean we beat a big and lanky Bucks team without Dwight, prior to the trade we lose this one easily.
Op should make a thread about warriors getting swept, Rockets winning a title, and every clutchfans member joint winning a lottery jackpot
