This is what i meant They play like they have a top 3 seed and can cruise through games and choose when to try. But they are .500 team who is destined to play SA/GSW in the first round. Happy for the win, but in 2016 i expected more then to hope for a 5th seed a this point
The really sad thing is that JB was about to put Lawson in with about 2 minutes left. JET hit one 3-pointer and JB sat Lawson back down... Lawson never left the bench again. JB's rotations are BAFFLING to me.
They didn't stop playing... they started milking clock. Makes it harder for them to score, but makes it so that the other team runs out of time.
Damn what a difference having JSmith back with the team. The D he brings plus his passing skills have been missed from the PF position. Back above .500, now get the rest of the players healthy and get good run going.
In terms of his time with the Rockets, it actually has been about 6 months once you factor out the offseason and when he was with the Clippers.
There is still alot to fix on this team, but adding Smoove does solve a lot of our issues. We need a playmaking big, Jones could be that,but he doesn't have the IQ of Smith when it comes to playing freely. Morey still has time to fix the roster if need be. Hope the next couple games go well.
Played so well for 46 minutes tonight, survived the last 2. We were giving up a ton of size, but still fought. Defense looked great for most of the game. Ball movement was exceptional when Smoove was on the floor. God if we can get Howard, Bev and D-Mo healthy. First optimism I've had in a long time.
Lawson played 28 minutes, i'm guessing JB is trying to get the players to share the workload. The Spurs do it, The Warriors do it.............we should do it it is great that we won and Harden played only 34 minutes
Only if D-Mo gets healthy. Harrell is not ready to be the full-time back up and Capela is too inconsistent.
