adds more credence to what cyberx said about ty being showcased. makes no sense to start him and have him play well only to then bench him next game will Bev is still out.

doesn't matter if Ty starts or not, he will play a lot of minutes tonight

i think they want Brewer in there to try and create more fast break points off steals

Bucks don't really start a genuine 4 themselves, so makes sense to go with a smaller lineup against them.

    why not start ty?

and ariza is playing 4? why go all the way out starting josh smith? i mean it aint like we have sth. to lose at this point and have a complicated playbook for smith to warm up to.

can see why they are doing it, we had most of our success last season with a good healhty bench. It really doesn't matter if Lawson starts or not, he will play 30-35 minutes

I think it might have been a tweet, but JB said if we win the paint we win the game, yet we go small?

Why start Ariza at the 4 when Josh is ready to play?

I said the same thing in the cyberx thread. The main difference, though, is Howard wasn't injured last game. Maybe knowing Howard is out changed the dynamics enough.

JBB knows he must go small tonight, so he's deciding to do it to start. Probably wants the Lawson/Thornton punch together off the bench.

Not starting TJones though...that might mean Josh isn't playing, or minor minutes, so he needs to stagger Capela/Jones somewhat.
