I admit I'm not a die heart Rocket Fan but I definitely follow and root for the team...this is because I love baseball more and don't have to time to be a fan of too many different sports teams now.

Gloves off? Why would you spend so much time on a team forum with the specific purpose of fighting with people over a basketball player who is two seasons removed from that team, especially when you admit that you don't follow the team. You don't even post stuff about what Lin is doing in games that he's playing for the Hornets. It's almost like if I came over to your house and invited myself in, admit that I don't like you, refuse to leave, and then spent the entire time irritating you and your family members.

No, I joined for the Astros forum to discuss the Renaissance of the team in early of last year...but stumble into the rockets side and notice the lin thread...I always been a fan of lin so once I started following this threat I realize how extreme the opinions are on both side I wanted to express some reasonable input but got the treatment from Tinny, zboy and some others for expressing my thoughts about lin as an nba player. I been a fighter all my life, so I took it upon myself to expose tinny's crew as a bunch of haters and not a representation of all the real long time Rocket fans I know.

your analogy is spot on. I believe that Lin fans can't function if they were on a board made up of 100% lin fans. They wouldn't like it because they all have the same opinions and no personality, it would be like a wall talking to a wall. The viruses can't function without humans. We're humans on Clutchfans.
