LOL. And for the same price -- we're already paying out his contract, right? Just have to include the rights to a foreign coach.

Josh Smith may be the shot in the arm to wake this team up. For whatever reason, he did not fit in with the Clippers, but this guy could be the ultimate glue guy for us .

Meh. Another low effort, low IQ player. Everyone loves him because of the several nice performances against the mavs and most notably game 6 against LAC. I think everyone will remember just how frustrated they were with him throughout the season for turnovers, terrible shot selection and Harden like walking up and down the court on both ends.

I hope we get something somewhat useful in return for Jones.

Clippers' message board is pissed at Doc Rivers for this.

They are saying Doc didn't give Josh a chance in a proper role because he kept playing him out of position.

What would you do if DMO was the one that gets traded?

exactly as sad as it sound Smith is an upgrade over Jones.

To Jones' defense not sure how much the weird injuries from last season effected him because he isnt finishing the same way he used to but this year at least on offense he is like a black hole. He doesnt make the hi-low pass the way Dmo and Capela do - hell many times he wont even try. Tries to take it in himself and just doesnt finish easy layups. The 3 ball is being shot at a high rate for him this season which is a plus but his release is so slow that its not a reliable shot for him. FT shooting still super shaky

dont even get me started on his "defense"

basically to me Frustation from Jones on defense >>>>>>>>>>> any frustration I may get from Smith chucking up shots on offense

This is the Rockets right about now...

Ironically, the Ducks also suffered in that movie because they had their star player only playing offense... AND they had a new coach. Jesus, we are the Mighty Ducks!

i disagree. watching JS play is a huge headache more than anyone else to me, especially when he joined on a team you're cheering for. Watching him play on other teams and making boneheaded decisions was just laughable to me.

Wow at the least Josh Smith and Lawson should be interesting to watch coming off the bench fast breaks and lobs. Also, Smith provided a level of toughness on this team last year that we haven't shown this year. Def adds more sticky icky to the purple haze experience
