Not gonna beat GSW...but at least this brings back the energy drain this franchise has suffered since the start of the season.

I can't figure out why Josh Smith wasn't able to work with DeAndre the way he worked with Dwight here in Houston, especially with a better coach like Doc.

Oh well, I think this move at the very least will help us get Dwight some easy oops and some better defense. Are we still "Not the same group"?

For the three people that voted against the trade, have you guys been watching this season?

cautiously optimistic about this move. Mchale may have been a big part in getting him to play within himself. There's no leader on this Rockets team to reel him in when he goes off the deep end in games. I hope he kept practicing the 300 made 3's a day or whatever.

Clippers probably would have done this deal a while back, but they needed assurances we wouldn't rise to the 5th seed and Josh come back to haunt them in the first round. The Rockets obliged by tanking their way to 22 - 22.

"I'm excited. I feel great," Smith told Fox 26 Houston about the deal. "It's a place that I probably should have never left."

Was a huge head scratcher on why we let him leave.

Josh is our Madmax. Talented as hell and erratic, but fearless. Offensively he is sort of like a taller Marcus Thornton. You can't say that Josh is afraid of the big moment or afraid to shoot.

Guys like Josh have a use if you can control him.

McHale would probably still be coach if Josh had stayed.

I also wonder if Josh is possibly a good guy in the locker room and a guy to support Dwight and keep Harden a little bit more under control.

Morey has a unhealthy obsession for trading to get former rocket players

But we didn't promise him a definite role, as if DMo or Jones are better smh. Smith is a better overall player than both

They must not have gotten a long very well to leave money on the table to go to LA-LA Land. Seemed like every time Smith tried to throw up a running shot or hook shot, Dwight would always goal tend and dunk it himself.

Thanks Dwight - if it wasn't for you, Smith would have been here this whole time! Jeez, Dwight is such a selfish player!

    (total sarcasm lol)
