Yes, the less Jones plays the better basically and at this point in his young career...the less Capela plays as well. He's just not ready.

Maybe Josh helps a lot, maybe he helps a little. But he can't make us worse.

We need a PF who can defend. That's Josh. He passes well, too, and increases our chances of keeping Dwight (which I am in favor of doing). And it lets us trade TJones, which will be good because I'm sick of all the whining about him on this site. Jones has talent and can hopefully return us something of value. Also, DMo's health is a huge concern. (I didn't want Markieff and Anderson wasn't coming here. I wanted Gibson but that was pretty unlikely to happen).

Josh is a little boneheaded at times, but he has heart and will play hard. Isn't that what we need? And he did win us that game against the Clips (Brewer helped). That was a huge deal because it helped get us to the WCF.

Good deal for us, we even had a roster spot open. (Hopefully Harrell will still get minutes to develop).

 

They didn't expect a Dmo setback. It appears Dmo's injury is pretty bad, they can't afford to wait on him to recover and so this is absolutely the best move to make right now. Hopefully this is the spark we need and he pushes the other pfs in practice to get better

 

Defense will improve tremendously with Smith back...contender status!
