Democratic Socialism tries to nurture the best attributes of capitalism tempered by a promotion of the collective well being. How does that not make sense? The United States is a Democratic Socialist country. You only need to look at Social Security, Medicare/Medicaid, the EPA, the CDC, the FDA stc. to understand the concept. Demonizing socialism is demonizing our American way of life.
American rightwingnuts like sports. American rightwingnuts love Israel. But what happens when American wingnuts learn one of Israel's most popular sports teams has a hammer and sickle in their logo? I honestly don't know, but all ahead at warp nine. ENGAGE.
Wait until the wingnuts figure out that the three major American sports leagues are socialist. Heads will explode!
Seriously what are you guys doing with this childish back and forth name calling BS? This is why I can't take politics serious. But then again maybe I shouldn't expect so much of clutchfans in the D&D. If the dudes being a troll then why feed him by continues reply's, if he has a point then debate, if he doesn't let's move on and have real discussions about Sanders.
Let's debate the fact that it is Democratic Socialism that makes America great, that left unregulated, capitalism would endanger the general public for profit. That the circulation of money rather than it's concentration is what builds national wealth and security. That delivering upward mobility, a better life for all our children, is the point of government. That the foundational functions of the economy, real work, is what we should be rewarding over the manipulation of law and money. Basically that everything promoted by Big money for Big Money demonizing the collective efforts of work, is propaganda and the American people are buying it. i.e. Big Tobacco fighting claims of lung cancer, Big Oil fighting claims climate change, Big banking fighting against financial regulation, Big Insurance fighting against single payer health coverage, Big Pharma stopping negotiated prescription costs for Medicare, Clean Coal, ha. Capitalism will lie and buy and cheat without remorse and it's up to the People, collectively, to write and enforce laws that that prevent it. Don't be a dupe.
Bernie sure did love communism http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/420228/bernie-sanderss-soviet-honeymoon-john-fund
He went on a honeymoon to Burlington's sister city when he was mayor -- he didn't join the Young Pioneers, comrade. Besides which, as Moshe Dayan, Yitzhak Rabin, and James Baker have all said, "You negotiate peace with your enemies, not your friends."

Yeah, it's interesting. Emily's List is the #1 non-Wall-St. donor to H. Clinton, for what that's worth. (Apparently, it's worth a nasty attack on Sanders, but it's not surprise.)
The one thing I do like about Bernie is that he doesn't stoop down and w**** himself out for votes the way O'Malley and Clinton do when they bring up the "we need to sue the gun manufacturers" rhetoric.
Bernie has said before that Vermont, while very liberal, is also a mostly rural state, with many hunters and gun owners -- as a VT senator, it's not in his interest to alienate them. He talks about "building consensus" on issues like gun violence. That he includes gunowners as part of that consensus seems to be point of attack for Clinton, and makes him so much the better to me as a candidate.
New polling from CNN shows Sanders ahead in Iowa. http://time.com/4189537/bernie-sanders-hillary-clinton-poll-iowa/ ************ Sanders is now beating Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton, according to a new poll, just over a week away from the Iowa Caucus. The CNN/ORC poll shows the Vermont senator has 51% support, while Clinton has 43% support. The findings indicate a significant shift from a CNN/ORC December poll that found Clinton leading with 54% support and Sanders trailing with 36%.
Bernie isn't about to win the nomination without a huge Hillary scandal, but it would be interesting if he somehow won both Iowa and NH. I would eat more popcorn, that's for sure.
it's hard to predict how much impact winning both of those states would or will have. assuming it would be all over the news for weeks and the next states start shifting. then that will become news also and before you know it things could get very interesting quickly. perhaps if bill and her could become a little more desperate and angry they could say something stupid and have some type of major gaffe. that's what these election cycle 24 hour coverage looks for anyways. they wait for something to stick and they run with it.
"Anyone who shrugs and claims that change is just too hard, has crawled into bed with the billionaires." @SenWarren https://t.co/VB1Z13PH4a Could Warren be sliding into endorsing Bernie? It is hard to see ol status quo Hillary as being for change.
