The last thing this team needs is Kevin Love. You don't fix poor defense by getting worse on the defensive end. That being said, I don't know what is going on with this team. It sucks. It's sucked all season long.
Yeah man let's trade for Toronto's best player by giving them our disappointing bust acquisition of the offseason. After that why not offer Ariza to OKC for Durant. I think Durant would be a great fit for us.
Middleton: A package including our most valuable names not including H&H. So Lawson, Ariza, Dmo etc... http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=gwtn9lj Parker: Probably a package including Dwight. Batum? A package of Lawson+Ariza+DMo for... http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=jjfvrw6
the Batum package really makes alot of sense for us aswell, considering everyone we're getting has an expiring contract coming along with them.
Middleton and Parker (if you mean Jabari Parker and not Tony Parker) are not available. Well they are but it will take someone like Towns. Batum may become available potentially in the near future doubt right now.
Batum is who I mentioned when basketballholic was asking someone else, "What wing (2/3) would you go after?" 16 points, 5.6 assists, 6 boards, and excellent perimeter D. Don't know if he'd become available or why. Obviously Jordan won't yield him for a bologna sandwich and a bag of Fritos corn chips.
Batum is always good in a contract year. I live in Portland and the last few seasons with the Blazers he kind of fell off the map offensively. Blazer fans wanted him gone. So just be weary of that. I love Batum and think he would be a good fit with this team. He's a younger/better version of Ariza. But I think we should address the PF position before we consider upgrading at SF..
Lawson and KJ to Bucks Mayo, Jones, Plumlee and pick to Bulls Gibson, Dunleavy and Bayless to Rockets Malakas whats your input on a trade like this? You obviously know the Bucks, but also a decent amount of the Bulls as well. Rockets get a big who can defend, rebound and hit a mid range shot, take on Dunleavy's 3 year contract, and get a knock down shooter behind Beverley Bucks get Lawson to backup MCW, KJ as a defensive prospect on the wing(fits the team) Chicago gets a wing player who can score in Mayo, Tjones to replace some of Gibsons minutes, Plumlee to play some backup 5 now that Noah is out for the year, get to dump Dunleavy's contract and get a pick(maybe den 2nd or something).
Then after that 3 way trade, call up Charlotte and offer Ariza, Motie for Batum and hope they bite. Beverley / Bayless / Terry Harden / Thornton Batum / Brewer / Dunleavy Gibson / Harrell / Dekker Howard / Capela Looks good.
I know, and his age he may never do so. But 4-5 mill for 2 years after this season isn't bad, we could always dump him with a 2nd if he can't return. But there is also the potential he does come back and then he would be a steal, he's a knock down shooter and has been rumored to be coveted by the Rockets before (although I think that was McHale that wanted him) still their may be some interest. Gibson would be a great fit at PF with his defense, defensive rebounding and good mid range shot. I think the risk is worth the potential in that trade. Lawson, Jones and KJ really isn't giving up too much.
wow guys..sam amick said that executives believe tht Rhyan Anderson will be making the max next year! wow!
Quite frankly noone can answer about the Bulls right. Look : The Bulls are ..in a very big crossroad right now. They made a big campaign to dishonor thibs saying it was all his fault about the bad offence and the lack of playoff success and now their handpicked yes man has been an even worse coach and it has been obvious that the problem last year too was the roster that they picked themselves. They wanted to make a trade but now that Noah is lost in action that may not even be possible. But what if the Bulls with their bad very hard shedule fall out of the playoffs? Then what they will do? Most probably a salary dumb to get out of the tax. Perhaps that means Pau who will leave anyway 100% next year. Snell as well. But anyway as for your trade the Bulls supposedly pre Noah injury wanted to trade one of their three bigs (most likely that would have been Noah) for a wing but I don't think they aimed for someone like Mayo. For Ariza though they would trade Gibson..back then. Who knows now. Perhaps there will be an even new or changed Bulls Fo soon.. Dunleavy's last year is only partially guaranteed. He can be very easily dumbed off. There is suspicion that he may not return at all this year and in usual bulls fo fashion they have been lying/keeping it secret. But according to the official line he will be back after the asw.
really? Anderson is not the slot of the first max! I think his max is around Derozan's level we are talking about 25 million dollars for someone who not only is often injured but is horribly defensively. It's one thing for a wing to get a max or for a young player with some potential to get a first max but for Rhyno...crazy and insane.
