Brandon Doughty 6' 3" 210 Western Kentucky. Has some really nice stats. His passer efficiency rating is second in this QB class only behind Vernon Adams and he throws it all over the park - his two main receivers got 1467 yds and 991 yds respectively and his TE Higbee was also a favoured target. Has to be considered.
I saw Doughty play this year against Rice. Yes, I know Rice wasn't that good this year, but man, Doughty can really pass. He was outstanding. Could be a very nice get.
Considered for what? When? He's a mid-late round pick who's likely a future back up at best. Spread system QB. Lanky build. Average arm. Locks on to receivers. Slow to find secondary receivers. Impressive college stats don't mean crap. His numbers are a product of his system and playing a fairly weak schedule.

Yup, mentioned this a week or so ago, specifically in regards to Hack...he's way too inaccurate to have any decent shot of being a good NFL QB. You just cant miss as many throws as he misses, specially at the next level.
Just went through the entire NFL. Only one starting QB had less than 56.1% during the last year of their college career…Brian Hoyer.
Yup, Hoyer was awful at every level yet somehow BOB thought he should be a starting QB in the NFL. We can hope that he has no say whatsoever as to the next QB of the Texans.
He actually wasn't, early in the season I went to look that up, he completed 48% of his passes his senior year in high school with 19 TD's and 12 interceptions. He was bad at every level unless he was awesome in middle school or Pop Warner.
That was his Junior year. His Senior year he was 62.6%, 5,570 yards, 45 TDs, 15 INTs. But don't let that get in the way of your narrative.
If Brian Hoyer truly did have a good senior year of high school then I'm really happy for him, that was the peak of his QB career. I'd hate to think he was terrible always and he has been for all the numbers I've been able to come up with.
