Surely Morey isn't sufficiently delusional to think KD would consider joining this dumpster fire?

long shot yes but he will wont sacrifice his slim chance of pursuing him by getting a player with guaranteed yrs. Even for him to do the Lawson deal, he got lawson to restructure his contract to where next year isnt guaranteed..

Are you implying this because of possible trades for expiring players?

There will be a decent amount of pickings in the 2016 free agency outside of Durant. I'm still interested in the Rockets staying financially flexible this summer even with Durant out of the picture.

Knicks do need a bench, but I doubt it as well. They would want more. I don't think we will get Durant. Maybe I am wrong, but the Rockets have had better seasons before and they struck out on FA after FA. Morey should have got Lowry, but got greedy.

Mike Conley is the best FA available, and maybe it is worth waiting one more year. I don't know how happy everyone is, but if they are happy then I would not mind giving it one more off-season and going all in this season and praying once we get D-Mo (a real stretch 4) back everything works out. We need someone who can set screens for Harden and make them pay when they double. I will live with Josh Smith setting his feet, lining up to the basket, following straight through, and flicking on the release.

Weird....and just a bad sign that Ty is the first one to be dealt, we have an ncompetent coaching staff and I'm sure after this trade Thornton' minutes will be deminishing even more. I dislike Ty but still.

Like I've been saying....Morey has inside info via Harden. Has to...not a guarantee, but an idea of what KD will consider.

From my understanding Lowry was open to a return to Houston but we wanted him to wait on the bosh/ parsons signing and he didn't want to sit on the big deal that Toronto was offering.

That would be a good haul depending on who we send.

While Lowry was waiting on Houston, he spoke with Toromto's GM, who convinced him.to stay to be the man there, that's what did it. You could argue making him wait faciliated that, but I doubt Lowry wouldn't have gone back to the GM to talk, anyway, if Houston made an offer.

My thoughts are black and full of anger. :(
I don't want Morrey to be dealing with the Bucks because I'm scared lol
But as for your trade no to sending two second rounders. On the other hand it's possible because the GM of the bucks (kidd) is an idiot.

The available players that could be included in this deal is : Mayo (confirmed by cyber) Vasquez, Plumlee , Bayless.

Bayless is kidd's bff. I have no problem of getting rid of them all and getting back absolutely nothing but Lawson is not nothing he's something. Someone who will get the ball out of Middleton's hands right now when he has turned the corner and is developing to almost a star.
After thinking this over I know why this deal may happen. It's for Kidd to save face and save his gm job. Look I spent one first rounder for Vasquez and managed to get back in the end Lawson the big name.

Here is some breakdown for them:
Mayo : will fit with the Rockets. He can play 2 and 3 and can defend both positions (he did in the Bucks not sure if he can defend the best wing in the Rockets while playing next to Harden). He playmakes and throws beautiful lobs and doesn't overdribble the ball most of the time but shares it. He can also be used as a spot up shooter and play off Harden. He can be the playmaker off the bench next to Bev or Terry. (the defence any way seems to be a lost cause this year.). He's in his contract year. (important when judging players because it shows they have major incentive to raise their perfomance). He sometimes loses it and gets ejected. Out of them all he is the one I would like to keep and pay a 5-7 per contract next year but I guess this isn't happening.

Bayless: he's a little chucker but can play off the ball but in contrast to Mayo you DONT want him as the primary playmaker because he can turn into a blackhole. He can defend ones and twos ok.(better than Lawson). He is very strong and can jump very high but has small wingspan. He is shooting very well this year. He too will fit well with the Rockets and could play next to Harden, next to Bev or next to Terry. Don't expect him to be able to get the bigs involved or throw great passes. He's in his contract year.

Vasquez: Not sure I can be very objective here because as soon as he joined my team he has been TERRIBLE. He has very slow feet which made him unable to participate in the quick switching Bucks defence. He can play 1-2-3 and not defend any position well. He is a good shooter who so far this year had the honor to break the Bucks franchise record of the most bricktastic guard in the first 10 games. He is coming back from bone spurs surgery and should be back by the end of the month. Perhaps it was the bone spurs that made him not to be able to hit the wide side of the barn.

Plumlee: Very athletic Center (not a pf) with the bball iq of a turnip. That's why he hasn't been getting playing time and is out of the rotation except from emergency situations. I can' understand how Phoenix had him as their starting center but according to their fans he was able to excel off the penetration of Dragic, IT, Bledsoe as a glorified garbage man. If he's traded to the rockets he will help off the bench and give more depth.

I am not sure Mayo and Bayless for Lawson works. Needs 1 more from Bucks?

Mayo + Vasquez is more likely than Mayo and Bayless because as I said Bayless it's Kidd's personal friend and they share the same agent. Plus look the reason I immediately suspected this trade had to do with Mayo was because Mayo came back from a strain or smth but then in the past game he for no good reason didn't even travel with the team to Miami and was out. It was very strange.
But Bayless did travel and he too came very recently from a hamstring or smth like that. If they keep Mayo out on purpose as I suspect they would have done the same with Bayless.

Anyway another player I didn't bother breaking down who could be included is Copeland
Copeland: a scrub. Should be cut and sent to Peru because he can't play good enough even for Ukranian league. Has a little more than a vet min contract and is expiring.

Jeez... Lawson would get us only Mayo and Vasquez? SMH... oh what a horrible season this has become.

    Agree with you

Ty Lawson can BALL. The problem is Harden doesn't want to share the ball. So instead of let Ty run the offense the ball magically almost always ends up in Harden's hands. Also, JB's rotations are the WORST I've ever seen in NBA history. Lawson plays good, "Um lets take Ty out and put Terry just for the heck of it" smh. If I'm Ty I'd be pissed at my situation here. But the main problem is Harden. He says he wants a playmaker in the offseason, we bring in a playmaker, now that he's here Harden doesn't want to share the ball so he can make plays. Other playmaker on the trading block now. Thanks James:rolleyes:
