wrong, it is still 1v8 2v7 3v6 and 4v5, the only thing that changed is that winning a division does not give you a top 4 seed. The order is done in the win-loss record
What? Where did you see this? This makes no sense. If this is true then it would be better to be a 6-8 seed then the 5th seed. Makes no sense.
I have not found one article that backs up this claim, even the playoff picture on nba.com and espn contradicts your assertion. I'm assuming this was done on purpose to elicit some sort of response from others on the board so i guess you have succeeded. If anyone else can back up cheke or FTW with a reliable source please do. Other than that, I would advise anyone making claims like this to doublecheck their own info.
