dont wanna make this a bigger deal than it actually is. and no one should.

but to say that there is nothing wrong with it, esp. under the circumstances, is just simply... wrong.

I was never a T-mac fan, but Harden makes.me appreciate him a lot more.

Well, considering Harden's game didn't even start until 7:30pm, hope you can understand why he wasn't in bed by 8pm.

He wasn't done with work (interviews/showers/change) until ~11:30pm, and he hadn't even had dinner, yet.

bottomline: NBA basketball players have a much different work and sleep schedule than NFL and you and me. Their cycle for rest is set for 7pm game times 3-4 times per week. They sleep like shift workers...much different hours than us.

Rockets game start at 7. Harden is usually asleep on the court by 8 pm.

He'll need the extra strength viagra by then. Something tells me James will be like 4 to 500 lbs within a few years of retirement. He's a lazy one.

I don't care about players' personal lives...

... but the indifferent on-court attitude doesn't mesh well with this kind of thing.

Harden can do whatever he wants, of course, but I can also wish for a different #1 guy on our team.

It's his ON court personality that's making this off-court stuff stand out to me.

Why does anybody have a problem with James Harden going home to his family after a game?

The club may be where you and I visit from time to time, but it's where James lives. He just leave from time to time to go to games, practice, shopping, etc.

He defending a couple steps slow and sometimes clearly not giving 2 fs about anything while on the court at times. As fans we need him to perform on the court but that's being affected by off court stuff maybe.

Don't care what he does the night after a game. He's 26. He can recover.

What I do care about is that I think he also went out hard the night after the Lakers game and that is why he played the way he did against the Clippers.

If his family were the Rockets, and he becomes a detriment to that family, then he should go and seek another family.

    We are Fa-mi-lies. ;)

sigh... My point is do you think when Harden has a chance to hit the sack early from a day of hard training, he will
    a. go to sleep early
    b. Go find some big booty strippers

No games scheduled to day and probably no scheduled practice. Do you honestly think he has the responsibility to go get some early rest?

Man, I just hope he show up in the Playoffs.
Oops, never mind, the Spurs, Thunder and Warriros would destroy us.

When basketball is literally your ONLY job and you get paid MILLIONS to do it....yes i do expect them to practice. With the amount of money these guys make they can have someone drive them home from the airport or TC. They can have someone cook them meals, pay their bills, raise their kids...etc. I don't expect a 9am practice, but how about a 3 or 4pm wouldn't be a problem at all.
