He wasn't a very good QB if we're being honest. The Vikings don't even make the playoffs without AD being the best RB in the NFL. It's just crazy that there are still people hyping him up as if he's the next great QB. One day he might improve to the point where he's an Alex Smith quality QB, but he's still got a long way to go in order to get there.

Put Bridgewater on the Texans and yes, they still lose the game but they probably don't get shut out.

What's it like being the only person who knows exactly how to value players? And knowing with such precision how alternate realities turn out? It must be such a burden knowing just how wrong everyone else is all the time.

It's pretty annoying most of the time to be honest. I know most people try their best so I put up with the awful analysis offered by some as well as possible.

At some point most people come around and see the error of their ways. You probably will too

I'd hate to be one of those people who can't see the error of their own ways.

Well we can only hope with time that you change.

Now let's get back on topic.

What about Clowney and #22 for Stafford?

Hasn't he been terrible except for one season? I feel like he has been a disappointment

He'd certainly be an improvement at QB, but Fulgore would basically trade Clowney for anything because he's worried about having to admit being wrong in the near future.

I doubt that but that's a story for another day.

He's a major upgrade over mallet, hoyer, and Yates. Not a super star but definitely has star potential

The titans would laugh at you, even as bad as they are. Nobody values clowney except the team that drafted him. And certainly not for the #1 pick. That's insane.

BobbytheGreat has so many opinions on everything that I'm sure my puny mind cannot comprehend most of his incredible statements, but I do think Bridgewater's way too overrated on this board. I lament a lot of things this organization failed to do over the years, but passing on Bridgewater is not, at this point, not one of them.

Which is why I said it was totally hypothetical...

"O'Brien once told [Christian Hackenberg] the only quarterback to pick up his system so quickly is going to the Hall of Fame.' That would be Tom Brady." (cbssports.com)

Is it not not one of them, or is it not one of them?

So, O'Brien has convinced McNair Hackenberg is the guy, I see.

Would love to get him in the second round.

That would leave us open to essentially the best player left on our board in the first, be it a nose, WR (as some of you gasp), a lineman, a tailback, or a safety. Honestly, if we can get our QB in the second, we'll be a wildcard in the first because I'm not sure if Elliott will be left, and if he is, if we'll take him.

Maybe. To me that reads more like O'Brien has convinced McNair that it is not in the team's best interest to trade up for any quarterbacks. It could be because he likes Hackenberg in the 1st or 2nd round or it may be he's perfectly fine with any of the QBs that fall that those slots.

    I agree.

I'm sure it's either or. One of those scenarios. Hence the "one will be available" and "it only takes reliable play."
