Trading Howard would be a big step back, even though this isn't a very good team anyway. Howard seems to be adjusting his game to be successful without the crazy athleticism, over the last few weeks he's really looked good.

Monster game for Dwight Howard. Have you guys noticed...the last 10 or so games, Howard hasnt gotten those stupid fouls....He hasnt been in much foul trouble at all.... He has been dominate and the refs have eased up on the whistles
I would be interested to see this team run through Howard PNR and post ups. He was really dominant against a good front line last night.
Again, I think this is CONTRACT Dwight, I believe he is playing for a new contract, and probably not in Houston. DD
Ahh CONTRACT Dwight, that's a new one... Is he better than Playoff Dwight, healthy Dwight or Orlando Dwight?
I actually missed this game, but; I actually think the rest of the team has finally learned where and when to get the ball to D12. He can't pass it to himself so I don't buy this contract stuff unless the rest of the team is in on it. When he gets the ball early, he has time to draw the defense, find his shot or pass out to an open three. The great news from here is how the refs call the game during the playoffs. The big guys get to go at it without the little ticky tack calls and flops... If the big guy can get started now, by playoffs he could be on a roll. I'm also starting to wonder if Harden shouldn't start the third quarter? This is when we always go into that slump that takes us out of the game. Maybe bring him in at the end or half way through the third?
Contract Dwight in LA was 26 years old, and coming off surgery, this is Contract Dwight at 30. He is playing very well - and not getting the ball enough - honestly he is playing much better than Harden, ATM. DD
Oh these narratives are hilarious. Always changing too. Gotta love these threads as well: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=270932 Hmm... there are like 7 Dwight personas now? Contract, playoff, healthy, hurt, fool's-gold... what other 2 am I missing? But Capela > Howard amirite? Also, funny you would be so high on these guys then.
So he isn't an elite player, he is a contract player playing at an elite level? You are the key to the world
"Contract Dwight" decided to show up two months into the season? Sounds about as sensible as the "DMo's pretending to have a sore back in his contract year after having back surgery, he's not really having a setback" conspiracy.
Baby making Dwight and undecided Dwight. DD has a few more he can throw in to fill his needs in any argument.
